As a graduate, the easiest work you can do in the Gambia is teaching, they lack manpower.

since you are a graduate of mech Engine, you should be very good in teaching mathematics or physics. the teachers of science subjectsi are hot cakes in some African countries.

Gabon is not hostile to Nigerian because I have a colleague that works there legitimately and he is earning big, infact he is from Ogun state Ijebu Remo and even want me to come there that I would make it since I studied Mechanical engineering also and have serious knowledge of diesel generator repairs. But as of now I declined.

Hmmm ...this is interesting ... and relevant to the topic. Mechanics Engineering .... I guess you specialize in Diesel generator repairs. I can see why you declined going to Gabon ...too much work in Nigeria ...too few specialists. Your friend is making a killing...but what does he do? ..teach?

@ OP ...what do you do presently ? ...teach? ...or practical?..as in repairing stuff? If you practice...then I guess your skill will find you jobs wherever you go . If making money is the priority then you should be able to do that here because there's lots of work and few qualified and capable people of doing them. What do they say about supply and demand? Nigeria is a big country...if you can't find peace where you are then relocate to another part. If you're bent on migrating....do research...enter local forums ...and first visit and see first hand how things are in ground.
