none of what you said about the performance or installing older version of iOS is true. It’s not even possible, stop panicking the OP with false information.

Apple has repeatedly been in the news for updates that flag or disable non oem spares.

They do not like third party repairs and do everything they can to stop them. Precisely because a lot of the time repairers uses inferior spares that reduce the experience and allow people to say iPhone and Tecno na the same thing.

this can also happen and same message appear even if you swap out a real original follow come screen from a new same iPhone into another phone. Apple isn’t doing this cos of inferior spares. They are doing just so you patronize their very own repair program. It’s all Money.

why do i need to watch or read up on thing when it’s what I know for a fact? Do you need videos to understand that Apple pretends with not wanting right to repair when the real reason is so they can sell their own repair products?

If you are unable to seek out knowledge and have delusions that you know everything, that's on you. Cheers.

there is no inconsistency. Update from phone or laptop or even from anywhere, you’ll get that message as long as you don’t have the follow come screen that came with the phone, even if you put a brand new screen directly from a new phone. Same stuff.

Did he update laptop, or iphone. Keep it simple. We will address the error after we establish that point.

You can update an iPhone using a laptop, 3u tools and the downloaded firmware

Ok, so you just identified 3 failure points, any one of which could be the source of his issue.

If my iphone says it needs update, Im just going to fucking complete update on the phone settings itself. Im not going to install a dumb 3rd party app on laptop so I can update iOS on phone. Ridiculous!

Beside, have you heard of jamf?

When you enroll your iOS device to Apple server it uses mdm to register and returns some certificates to your profile.

Updates use your profile to authenticate device and registers. A 3rd party app, or non-Apple laptop could introduce errors into the update even if you get a successful completion.

There are fault diagnostics you can do using utility to pinpoint what that error is.

You are speaking too many Grammer
The post just needed one answer
Will the notification go away or not
Not all this unnecessary information you are typing

It’s fine we all agree you know about iPhones very well
But you still haven’t offered any reasonable solution to the thread

My approach on diagnosing iphone problem starts with the owner telling truth, and not giving conflicting statements.

Give enough truthful information and I will teach you where to look for solution.

Lets go back to your first two or three posts. Was the update done on iphone, or from laptop?

Naaaah I'm not arguing about the pros and cons of it. Just pointing out that it's possible. Not many people have gigabytes of data to do an in-place upgrade. People download the firmware once and can use it to upgrade multiple phones at different times (charging a token for the "service"wink

So I would not have done that. Try to rollback the update, using the phone. Then reinstall it, using the phone.

Good luck buddy.

there’s True Tone and the screen is working normally , I’ve used the phone for like two weeks I just decided to update the iOS and the notification appeared.
I’ve called him and he admitted the screen was replaced that the notification will disappear in less than 10 days
Just need to confirm if it will truly go
don’t mind people telling u rubbish here, the fact is that the screen has been replaced and no matter the screen u put,it will still show that notification.it doesn’t however mean that it is a fake screen or not and will not in anyway affect the functionality.even if you replace with a screen from a brand new phone, you will still get the message.

Dude, I noticed couple of inconsistencies in your update. This is iphone update but you said you completed the update on laptop. Start from there. What did you update, a mac or a iphone? grin

No inconsistency.... You can upgrade iphone using your laptop if you have the necessary software... It preferable self

Nobody said you could not use pc to install. To help find solution I needed clarity on what method was used.

My advise when it comes to electronics is always to minimize, or better still exclude middlemen like 3rd party apps. They provide you ease at the expense of peace of mind. But many people lack culture on electronic device management, and just get add-ons for their phones because it trends.

The problem has already been identified.... Since the seller agreed that the screen has been changed.... Don't stress it sir.......

Jeez!

See Aba engineer. User said he changed screen, therefore that is the problem.

So dashboard in car show change engine light. You ask owner and he agreed car engine was changed not long ago, so you now conclude the problem is coming from the replaced engine. Abi? I Salute your engineering acumen. grin

kinda, but as long as you have Face ID and truetone working, you are good. Is Face ID working?

Apart from changing brightness and make it appear different in different environments
Is there any other useful thing about true tone ?

none, but those are important as they stop UV lights from damaging your eyes.
