When we talk now they will come for us and call us "tribalistic" etc, but a system built on nepotism and "man know man" can never thrive. The U17 team Nduka Ugbade selected had some really technically gifted players like Light Eke etc, a team that was balanced among all ethnic groups even though the Southern players (Igbos, Yorubas etc) were clearly head and shoulders above their Northern counterparts in that team.

Now we are seeing a case where Ladan Bosso packed his Northern brothers into the U20 team just to pander to some quota system that has led us no where in Nigeria. The truth hurts but Northerners aren't built for technical sports in Nigeria, that's a sector Southerners especially Igbos, Yorubas, and South South (Delta/Edo axis) mostly dominate. I knew this team will be rubbish right from the squad list. We're really wasting our time in this country honestly.

That coach is a fraud and he is the one reason why I can't trust indigenous coaches

See how shamelessly he picked his players out of favouritism. The coach does not want to grow and he is not ambitious.

NFF is a major stumbling block to National football development vis all d national team both male and female.

We must erase nff b4 it erase football in Nigeria.

The tenure of this alhaji Guso tabi Oso will be worst in d annals of Nigeria's football history.

Ladan Bosso should be jettisoned out of our youth football system.

The region where a coach select his players does not matter as long as d players are talented and merited to b selected,
But the man Bosso as a coach can never lead us anywhere. I have been saying this for a long time.

It happens a lot in Europe too... For instance, Man city paid Halaand's father a sizable amount of money before his transfer from Dortmund. that doesn't include the transfer fee they paid to Dortmund and the agent fee they paid to Mino Raiola.. the total transfer package is said to be over 300m or so.

Transfer fees are a whole different ball game.

When the product is top class then you'll can dictate to clubs and agents if you even want to use one.

We are taking youth player compensation/ development fees.

Two totally different subjects don't muddy the waters please.

This shows that Equaveon and Finidi will be acting in interim capacity until a new coach is found? This is just a propaganda to keep the media off their (NFF) back. If Equaveon leads SE to victory against SA and Rwanda, he will continue to be interim until he eff up!

This is good. Whoever is interested should apply. Ghana football federation did same and received over 600 applications. I pray we get the best for our Super Eagles.

How does this relate with me telling you those canvassing for Amunike are not doing so because he is of same tribe with them. Some like Goodjoe is not igbo by tribe, I understand some south westerners see everyone from bayelsa, rivers, delta, awka ibom and cross river as Igbos but they're not. Nigeria have over 530 ethnic group

Coming to my post, is it not obvious that Bosso team selection is sectional. He is lazy and parochial. Man ought to be in all geopolitical zone to scout, assess and unearth talents. You'll know a team selection not flawed. Bosso have been like this for years, when you begin to make business or work decisions with sentiments you'll barely excel

he wouldn't want to be a competition to his boss, the la masia knowledge soaker, the only man that has the best tactical knowledge in Africa, the only man he can defend without resting; Emmanuel amunike. He will forgo this chance for his oga. There will be other chances to become coach.

What I found amusing is that you are quick to call out Bosso but found excuse for Amunike?
Where in my post did I mention a particular tribe? You and Bosso did exactly what I post about.
How you found my post tribalistic and not yours is what I found funny? It is well my brother!

The problem isn't academy players, the problem is the coach. We sadly have a way of rewarding mediocrity in this part of the world. How the heck is Bosso still the u20 coach?

not sure why they will do that. The last time they opened the position to the public was when they wanted to sign rohr. They didn't do such during jpes's hire.

When a coach is doing the right thing with good results who care where any player comes from…..go and check Japan 93,there is no single SW player in that team but who cared…..Bosso is not getting it cuz he failed to scout very well. What we need is result, fans want to see good football not tribe.
