The issue with the “Innit Boys” strategy is you don’t get them until later in life eg 25-27 when they’ve seen their chances at getting into the UK squad is slim to none.

That makes building a cohesive squad for 2 WC cycles (8 yrs) very difficult.

The likes of Olise, Carney C, Tim I, etc, would rather wait things out before deciding to play for the SE.
Iwobi that started playing for Nigeria at the age of 18-19 una respect am?

He has what it takes to become the head coach of the Nigerian U-17 team by merit.

He can also become Assistant Coach in the SE set up. The Head Coach will be decided by the cabal in government as it is highly politicized.

Has he even applied?

Absolute amazing, those are crazy statistics that even a striker would be proud of.

But somehow you don't see 🙈 anybody going orgasmic about how good he is they will rather be talking about the uncrowned midfield maestro Nwakali.

That's not true.

You have no idea what goes on behind the scene 😔

One question ❓ what's the Modus operandi of NFF officials. The seek personal interest and selection is based on you signing for their agent and giving them your bonuses, etc.

Most European born Nigerian will fund that very strange and will not succumb.

Ademola Lookman and Ovie Ejaria both tried to play for Nigeria at U17 level but supposedly failed the trials in England . ( Dem no gree settle)

Eberechi Eze waited for two years after his first invitation to train with SE. The invited the Nwakali brothers instead.

Now he has blown we remembered him.

Daniel Daga might just end up like Kelechi Nwakali, showing promises at youth football but never making that step up. Dude was supposed to have been in Europe probably playing professionally already but look at him already stalling at Enyimba because he was adjudged to be under age. Whoever made that guy present 16 as his official age last year really did him dirty. One more year in the NPFL and all the euro clubs that wanted him last year would all drop their interest. Wasted talent

NFF presently is tilting towards Nigerian coaches for SE with a long term contract
Finidi is one on the list.
Ogunmodede, I hope I got the name right. The Remo stars coach.
Fidelis Ilechukwu is another and this other man Ogunbote or so. Unless they get a capable and also budget friendly Non Nigerian. One or two of these men will be in the dug out.

Nigeria.

You have Nathan Tella and Chidera Ejuke, but decide to go with Ahmed Musa for moral support. grin

You have a gap in midfield, have Kelechi Nwakali and decide to go to the tournament with less the allowed amount.

We hail thee.

martins battled for starter’s shirt with the likes of Julio Cruz, Adriano and Vieri so it wasn’t much easy for him then

Oba didn’t play to his full potentials for the super eagles but during his Inter and Newcastle days he was unplayable

Then I use to call him “OBA FURY”

Oba had all his chances in the Eagles o, but his goals never took us too far. And we had midfield then o, even dem okocha still dey

Sir Chris you are right though I hate this age cheat issue but sometimes it’s glaring that some players age need to be questioned…..Your university school guy Jonathan Alukwu is 20 years old?what can you say about his age.
