I read stories like this and I laugh. Only someone that doesn't know the law would believe a lady can just decide to send her husband packing in the UK. No woman has the right to kick you out of your home or keep your children away from you except she can prove you abused her. Men have the same right when abused by thier wives. The only reason these men leave the house when asked to do so is because they actually did something that would give the women the upper hand if the case gets to court. Otherwise, there's no circumstance under which one spouse would wake up and take it upon himself/herself to kick out the other and keep the kids. It doesn't work that way. There's no law in the UK or anywhere in the West that supports that. The two spouses have equal rights.
