Please is this cover letter okay for my son ? We applied last year including my other kids but we didn’t travel , I got 6 months but they were given 1 month, he has 2 France visas , so I am reapplying for just him now ? Is this cover letter okay please ? Is there a need to state why he didn’t use the other visa ? And does he need a letter of introduction ? And also please will this cover letter be written in my letterhead or just plain letter?

Good morning guys. I’ll be traveling to France and my fiancé who’s in Spain will be joining me in Paris. In whose name should the hotel booking be? Mine or his or can we have both? (He’s the one sponsoring my trip). Also, I’ll be going from Nigeria to france and from Spain back to Nigeria (i plan on visiting Spain and I’ve booked my return flight from Spain to Nigeria). This is not a problem yeah? Lastly, do I need to show travel itinerary at the point of entry?

Is this for visa application purposes or the actual travel itself? If it’s for the trip itself, once you’ve gotten the visa and as long as you try to enter though the issuing country, it doesn’t matter where you exit the Schengen territory from tbh. Same with hotel itinerary. It’s okay to show one in your finance’s name, shouldn’t be a big deal if you can prove relationship (if it ever is required)

Thank you , I have booked the hotel in his name , I will also add my France visa to it too

Africankel:
1. Do not pay for tickets until a visa is approved. Reservation for him alone will suffice.

2. How old is he? If he's 18 and above, the hotel booking should be done in his name.

3. No need for the property documents. Your cover letter should however be detailed. And properly outlining your sponsorship of the trip.

Good day everyone, after carefully going through the thread, I am trying to apply for France visit visa for myself, my wife and my one year old son, to celebrate his birthday, 6 days vacation to be precise and I want to put in the application together as a family.

Am I to apply for each persons visa separately, because on the French visa application website I can only see tourism and family/private visas which will only allow me fill in my own details alone without my family details, and after filing all required part there is no part to fill my family details.

Pls how do I go about the application so I can put in my family details together with my own ?

Lol, there's nothing wrong in this itinerary.
Both France and Spain are within the Schengen Zone, they are considered 1.
And secondly, there's no rule (as far as I know) that states you have to return from where you travelled to, you can go from Nigeria to Canada, then to the US and from the US to Nigeria. All what is necessary is that you should have all these tickets and visas to show the airline staffs in order to allow you board.
