I'd like to go into Cassava farming. I have about 20 plots of land which is 2 plots above 3 acres

pls those who are already into this business, kindly share your experiences and the things i should know.

TME419 is Good.

It Has Less Cyanide. And It is What is Being used to produce Custard.

I also have a company in Ondo State That Can Buy Over 30 Tonnes of TME419 Variety When You Convey Them To Their Company.

I Presently Produce Custard From The Abundance of TME419 Cassava Tubers @ My Cassava Mill in Ugep, Cross River State.

It's Called "Ege Oniyan" in Ekiti State - Meaning: Cassava That Tastes Like Yam.




It is What We Use To Also Produce Yellow Garri in Cross River State.

I knew that figure can't be right because even my expenses rough estimation is over 200k...so how will a farm I spent over 200k to cultivate bring out a paltry sum of 200k?

Yes. Processing will shoot your profit to millions. But raw tubers wont give you much.

Sounds better.
You don't expect someone to spend one year cultivating a crop and ends up making 600k profit on 3 acres... it's a spoiler.

A lot if you partner with someone abroad who will buy them, that way you can make your money in pounds or dollars.

@op, if it's well managed and you have the right variety of cassava, you should have above n3m in 1 year.

Even if the seeds of the cassava are kwashiorkors, it will still generate above 200k for that size of land.

Also if you can, fence the whole acre of cassava farm, This advise is from a farmer recently attacked by Fulani Herdsmen/bandits

it depends on many factors
the location, the fertility of the soil, the cost of labourers etc

3 acr of land can give you more that 5m in Benue state
