You can cross check the explanation if you're registered on iTrade and can view today's trades for each stock.

GTCo closed @44.40
High: 44.50
Low: 43.00

** Note that there were some trades @44.65, but because they were not up to 100k single trade, the price wasn't recognized as the High of today **

** Another example: Check GEREGU
Most trades were executed @900-920 BUT...... High, Low, Closing Price remains 1000.

Please explain more... price may recover a day or 2 after Mark down
This simply means that for example: if Zenith Bank close at N46 today and declare N2 as dividend with same today as qualification day. By tomorrow, Zenith will open trading @ N44 meaning that NGX has removed the N2 dividend from Zenith stock share price. Then by the close of market same tomorrow, Zenith was able to gain N2 to close @ N46, that means all the Zenith bank shareholders that received the N2 dividend just got like awoof money because the N2 dividend they received as dividend was recovered by the stock that same tomorrow to close at same N46 it initially open trading in the morning.

The Breweries present a falling knife phenomenon.

If you can acquire Guinness stock at #43 or lower, there is a high probability that it will provide returns of at least 10%, and potentially more. However, if the stock price falls below #41, then know that this assessment is incorrect.

Similarly, for the stock Eti, if you can purchase it at #22 or below, a minimum rise of 10% can be expected with high probability. Again, if Eti's stock price decreases below #20, then this prediction is wrong and a stop-loss should be triggered.

Regarding the ARIMA model's analysis, there was no significant signal generated last week. cheesy

The return of Aig...

Two things deducted from reading this:

1. possibly a 2 man show, Aig and MR Wigwe (RIP) with no real sucession plan or trust of subordinates.
2. Hopefully this serves as a wake up call to companies to inculcate the ability to groom trust worthy subordinates (easier said than done!!) for times like this.
Access holding will come out greater though!!!

These things can be subjective. As such, I would say haven already appointed an acting group head(with over 2 decades in-house experience) ,bringing him on-board is just like a 2FA system - secure proof.

Exactly sir. And investors need a solid system they can believe in. Herbert's passing was totally unplanned and Aig can be a comfort to the investors until everything comes under control.

@ Deadlytruith & other IEI investors,
Good morning,
I hope you did your DD before investing in IEI
I want to believe going by the latest result published by IEI @ NSE, It is not suppose to trade below #2.50 by now but reverse is the case.

Sometime in 2022, an investor bought it 100% at #1.60 kobo per share and later we saw the core investor is holding only 50.6% of the 1.2B shares.

Can you shed more light on the stock as I can see it going below #1 which means there is something we don't know about IEI.

I am equally interested in this stock because it a type of stock that matches my picks and I am watching it like hawks.
