Based on the present economic situation in Nigeria and the scarcity of funds, seller A might attract more customers because with the little fund available I can get to purchase basic needs while I'll have extra dough to purchase a commodity and get the extra I might not need.

If you are selling to Nigerians go with seller B. Nigerians love the word free, once the word free is an advert it captures their attention.

Most of the replies above show that you guys aren't into management or business administration. When a business entity comes up with this sort of promo, often, it's not about you the customer. It's about the company's wellbeing.

Most companies, especially, supermarkets, would prefer Option B because Option B will help them to shift more goods. As in sell more goods than Option A

As regards Option A, most customers would prefer that as they most likely came in to buy 1 piece of the item on promo anyway. Most wouldn't need 2

Thus, Option B will be more impactful on the bottomline of the company in question

Seller B is good for the buyer and the seller .. because you sell more volume and the buyer is happy because she's thinking 140000 Naira valuation of her goods ..

In my opinion, option A will sell far better because not everybody wants to buy in large quantities.

They are both promo sales only one is slashed price while the other is. Buy one get one free which is not really free considering the other option.

Seller A is the best deal, because If a customer wants more than 2 lets say 3 he will spend only N105. Were as with Seller B, he needs N140 and above for quantities above 2.

Seller A is more flexible

The focus is on the "customer" here not the company's well-being . After getting accurate deductions on most the customers choice will most likely be then the company can look into what impact the customer's Choice will have on them.

The focus is customer for now.
The truth is it's what suits the company. They don't care about you. Supermarkets abroad, for example, often employ Option B

Because most people are very poor now but with half of the price they can get a full bag.
But the best option to me is 2 because promo doesn't last forever.

The same just that if you have the money then go for option B but if you a low on budget get option A.
Both will sell depending on the area. For mid and upper class, option B. For low income area, option A.

Option B have a clause if you didn't have up to #70,000 you will not buy the product. But with #35,000 you will get what you want with Seller A.

It clearly depends on the purchasing power of the customers. Either price option does not in any way impact negatively on the customer.
A price sensitive customer will buy discounted price and a price immune customer will buy one get one free.

Option A will sell faster, if you are into business, you will understand better.

There are times company will tell you to buy certain quantity and get a discounted percentage or buy certain quantity and get some of those products free in return.

The first option is what people do go for because you will still have money to run other part of your business.
Buy one and get one free no too dey work for Nigeria like discounted price.
