I tried poutine and I don't get it. I was so hyped and then.... Maybe because it was at the airport. Supposedly one of Canada's biggest chains for it. I forget the name. I'll stick with chili-cheese fries like a good Texan grin

The food were extremely cheap then, l don't know how it is today, but I think food are cheaper in Northern Nigeria but with the different terrorist gangs in different parts of the North including other places in Nigeria , l think it has changed the food dynamics in Nigeria because so many farmers have been killed/ kidnapped/ ransom payment before you farm and ransome payments before you harvest, nawao shocked

Still way cheaper than Lagos that's why I get my produce from Jos. I get my dambu from Abuja from a little old lady who makes it the traditional way. I get two buckets at a time because she makes to order

Dinner from last night:

Each time I tell madam that we should go out to eat, she and my mum will always have reasons to say no.

Last week was mothering sunday and when they turned me down, I decided I was going to bring fine dining home.

First time beef ravioli, chicken francese topped with fresh parsley. I also made a cocktail (no alcohol in it though) which my mom loved so much.

Hubby's blood sugar been up so he's avoiding carbs for dinner. Mediterranean seafood soup is one of his favorites.
