Highest is 4gb ram even for Indian market. Anything 6gb ram is not Redmi note 4

What happens if you download WhatsApp again and try to login?

Still the same thing. I still get the same prompt.

But I think I've found a way around it though. I deleted all previous chat backup and left only the latest one. When I tried again, at least I got to the otp point but I'm not receiving any otp probably because of the network ish

Put your SIM inside the phone and request a call instead of the SMS option.

That was how I was able to solve my own issue yesterday.

Before they say I am a marketer,

You are the only person I have seen complain about hyper os on Redmi note 12,

Xiaomi group people on Facebook are full of praise on how it's feels lighter, better ram management and battery management

Run a factory reset and please hope your phone is not the 4gb ram version?also hope you have enough rom space left?
Bro, are you saying that a factory reset can restore the phone and remove this Hyper OS?

Some apps especially all apps that have something to do with Microsoft (Edge, teams, outlook, Adobe etc) no longer open on my phone after I upgraded to Hyper OS.

I use a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G

It will not remove HyperOS but it will help in optimisations as you will install all apps afresh

No sir,not insinuating that

But a factory reset can make a whole new software experience better optimized.

Please what are the recommended things one should do on a new Redmi phone.

- MI account created.

- linked to Google account.

Been hearing about G-CAM but don't really know what it is.

Also, what should one do to lock the phone and prevent someone to use it if it unfortunately gets stolen.

Can one create two users for the phone? Like if you unlock the phone, you can put one password for user A and a different one for user B, just like it's done on Laptop.

Please drop tips and recommendations to get the most out of the phone.

Thanks.

Recommendations please

I had such an issue (though on POCO X3 PRO, MIUI 14) where the "microsoft teams" app could not open, later found out that permission to "get system info" wasn't granted.
Once I granted that permission everything was alright. So check and see if that cud solve ur issues.

From my experience after using four different phones from different xiaomi brands, xiaomi devices have a short life span. On the good side, they're very customizable ( for people interested in that). After two years just dump the phone or dash it out because it'll frustrate you.

Pls I updated my Redmi 11S to hyper OS, yesterday, and everything is working well after update. This afternoon, my phone shut down because the battery is in 1%. I have plugged my phone since 30 minutes ago, and it has not been charging.

NOTE: I was able to charge the phone yesterday afternoon update but the phone was ON.
