Meanwhile we need to be wary about finidi tactics too,aw can a 10 man Ghana 🇬🇭 pin u down for a larger part of d second half wout response…so tey ,it was looking like mancity vs burnley.

Hopefully we defeat mail to maintain our ranking…

Besides Nwabali is a very decent goalie 🥅

Lookman also improving in every outing giving victor moses vibe ,,, Lookman is only a far better finisher and sweet crosser too … Victor moses a far better dribbler with killers vibe 🫡

Yeah, that needs to be talked about
But Sha, we give him the benefit of the doubt
It was his first game, and generally speaking, he did well
We can point to individual moments when it looked like Addo was dominating, but we go let Finidi off the hook for now

Sir, make we rest… if una say he was good, let it be so. But as for me he is not better than what we have. Onyemachi as well was rubbish yesterday.
Yes but better than what we have like Awaziem and Osayi yesterday. My argument was on yesterday match, nothing more and fact he came into starting eleven cuz Omeruo had a knock,so kudos to him as debutant against fiery rival.

Italy 10 man beat eagles,Tunisia beat 10 man Nigeria team but we still had good possession and chances,so kudos to Finidi for beating Ghana 10 or 11 man team.Pls we will not allow you to criticize Finidi until coach is appointed cuz you applied for the same job😄or you don chill out baba😍

How do you see the build up to the second goal.

Why is no one talking about Onyeka’s long ball to nacho that resulted to the 2nd goal?

If say na Nwakali play that pass by now we never talk finish here 🤣🤣🤣😏

Dessers is Technical but I don't know why he kept missing on his chances?
He should try to improve cos right now, Nigeria get players yakata.
His positioning is top notch I must say. He attacks spaces cleverly and watches his offside positioning well. Even the near miss by KC was a goal if Nacho had looked to his left cos he was just on his own with open net in his front. He just needed power against placing in some of his misses yesterday.

I hv always said that the trio that started in midfield for us yesterday na our best

Can’t wait for the likes of Eletu, Akinsanmiro ,Nnadi and Uche to join in no distant time

Soon we will hv a large pool of midfielders to pick from

Oga Truid, pls what formation did we used against Ghana cuz I saw Ajayi and Awaziem doing the same thing you hammering on against the boy.
The coach wanted the team to retain the ball as much as possible. The guy played to instructions abeg. Recycle and recycle the ball, let the opponent do the chasing. Don't make a forward pass you are not sure. Pls the young man did good. Osai came in with his forward passes which many were wrong and kept the team on a back foot.

Simple reason. They left the tactics of recycling the ball to making a whole lot of over ambitious wrong forward passes. If they had continued with the 1st half tactics, ghana would have ran out of steam. I know d coach will knock out that huff to Osimhen and insha Allah. There brain format is kick it to osimhen. And that's what they started doing later on.

Loved KCs sleek movement and sharpness.

Make we no lie and shame the devil JP no sabi manage him bench for AFCON and are we seriously saying Raphael was such a poor DM we couldn't have risked him in a 3-man midfield and played Iwobi higher up in attack? undecided

Anyway the man do go.

It was not accurate, I expected the ball to be much closer to Nacho than it was

So you want to play against a team where there will not get there moment. From the blast of the whistle we took the game to them, we did not give them much space.

A single turn in the midfield yesterday by Onyedika and we had our best team goal in years. This was house Ivory Coast turned around their fortune by bringing in Jean Seri. Everything Seri did in the Afcon was what Onyedika would have given us and even more because he is stronger and marks better, but our clueless coach kept him on the bench just to ridicule Iwobi.

By the way, Ndidi dun over mature. Dude oozes class in the midfield just like Mikel was back then and currently Partey. Though, Mikel and Partey are slightly better passers

Nwabili weak point: He spills the ball alot.
I hope this won't affect us in subsequent games?

If we're going to go with local I would suggest we stick with Finidi (if you're unavailable of course grin)

Jokes apart George seems to already have a good rapport with the players but he needs tactical support.
