The Labour Party, LP, 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has dismissed claims of dumping the party.

Obi said he’s still a member and will never be involved in an anti-party.

He spoke while addressing Nigerians on social media Space hosted by Parallel Facts on Friday.

"I am still a member of the Labour Party and I don’t and will never do anti-party,” he said.

The former Anambra State governor also insisted that he didn’t lose the 2023 presidential election.

He said the impact of his followers known as Obidients were felt in Nigeria and the globe.

"We did not lose the election of 2023, we won, your (Obidients) impact was felt all over the world and you can’t take that for granted.

“It’s actually a stepping stone, hold your head high and celebrate. Together, a new Nigeria is possible,” he added.

I don't attack Peter Obi, I only hold him to account for what he says, same as I'll do for President Tinubu or Atiku.

As an example, there was a time on this Nairaland I told some people to stop being personal against Peter Obi, they abused the hell out of me. But nutin spoil, I had made my point.

That is just one example of many times that I have being abused for standing up for him. I have being called Chinedu in a derogatory manner here.

I also stick it to Atiku and President Tinubu when the need arises but I trust you that you will not see those.

Please don't mistake my fact checking Obidients for some kind of assault on Peter Obi, they are two different things.

Jokes aside, please never you label me as anti Ndigbo. You clearly have not gone through enough of my posts to see where I declare my love, admiration and eternal gratitude to Ndigbo.

I admit, I have a recurring gbas gbos with Obidients but that is solely because that group of people want to pull the wool over our collective eyes and it must not be allowed to happen.

Not all Ndigbo are Obidients and vice versa. I did term them IPOBidients because I believed that was apt but clearly, that term would have fallen foul of the new Moderation process so I stopped.

Sadly that Peter Obi twitter love-in yesterday has spawned a lot of threads that I must attend to as a matter of urgency ahead of finding Atiku and Tinubu posts of mine.

Once things settle down regarding the above, please remind me and I will find the posts for you.
