Find out from the school about the type of insurance you are on and if u can add her to your insurance, then you pay the outstanding balance.
It should be much cheaper than paying wholly out of your pocket.

Please do you know if the child will be entitled to the monthly benefit after birth

around 2k to 2.5k should be enough if you get a temporary room to rent. If it’s airbnb you have to settle for check the average prices on their website . You can bring some of your money in cash(usd) and convert here.

What I mean is delay in processing visa to Canada, can I make use of the money in my proof of funds and later return it back ? Is it going to affect me now that I have done my biometric since January?

as a student it will be hard getting such unless you are ready to pay like 6 months rent in advance. About 13k to 16k . Because you don’t have credit history or records of employment. Use facebook marketplace/ rentals.ca . Your best bet is basement.

You should probably start shopping around for Hospitals close to where you’d land especially since delivery is about a month after you guys arrive. So you’d know the potential cost and prepare for it.

Most health insurance brokers will treat it as pre-existing condition and may not offer coverage for her even if u are willing to pay the annual premium, you can reach out to different insurance brokers to be sure(Bluecross/Manulife/Sunlife/CanadaLife etc).

In any case, you'd likely be busy with school + helping your wife with the newborn and she prolly can’t work for next 6 months. Suffice to say you’d need plenty of funds

Was only a matter of time. The periods between 2016-2020 will be remembered as the golden age of Canada immigration. The number is already tricking down from 2020-present. In a few years time, migrating into Canada will be as difficult as a camel passing through the eye of a needle. Obviously, migration is growing at such a rate that it can't even keep up with housing and urban development, jobs, etc. It is in fact already making Trudeau and his government look bad.

Good day guys.

I got denied canada study visa in January.

I have just gotten back my 10,000 CAD tuition deposit and I don't wish to re apply until after one year

Will you advice I change the CAD to naira due to this fluctuation of naira and dollar, or I leave in CAD.

I am scared if I leave it in dollars in my account it might depreciate badly before the time I want to re apply.

I also need advice from people .
I am an Auditor. Which country outside Africa can I migrate to with 10,000 USD.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada has seen a “massive spike” in temporary immigration that has grown at a rate “far beyond” what the country has “been able to absorb.”

Why would you want to change it back to Naira?

Address the reasons for refusal and reapply.
