Neither are both leagues better than each other? By the way her Club in Israel can’t be compared with Ashleigh own in Saudi…

By the way I’m happy we have successfully moved past that Grandma in Defense..! Time for the Younger Bloods to come.

If not for injuries who will be here talking about wanting Onome in the team again?? We Move!!

The question was about leagues but of course u would move the goal post.

Al ittihad is average. They can't beat anyone in the top 4.

If u know that this debate is being held because of injuries what is the commotion about?

Because of injury, So why bring in GrandMa instead of Young Legs that are Capable and very much quicker instead of Mama that the SA forwards will easily outrun..!

Anyway we have grown past 40+ in the SuperFalcons, there’s no experience she wants to offer that the likes of Tochi, Ohale, Ayinde and Co can’t offer the younger ones!

Forward Ever! Cause I will rather have Zogg or Maureen or Okeke or Akudo instead of Mama Onome

U must think this is a friendly match or something. Let's move our feelings out the way, which one is Zogg or Maureen? Next! Akudo is injured and we already have Okeke in camp. I feel Christy will have to pair with Ohale but u look at the bench and there's skeletons. I have no problem if the coach wants to move on from her but saying she isn't a worthy option is wild to me.

If she is as washed up as u want us to believe no foreign club would have knocked on her door. Then for her to leave all what was offered by the Naija Ratels boss she must have been given a significant increase in pay. So make it make sense. Ur only out would be if she was just there to pass on experience off the field but then she is playing week in week out.

Let me just make it clear here, in Israel the lowest she would be earning there is arguably $1500 monthly but she won’t be earning that because of her Pedigree having been in the game for long, she should be earning at least btw ($2500 — $3000 ) or a little more or below that range monthly ….

In Women’s Football National Team Players tends to earn higher than those that don’t play for their Country National Team, then when you play for a top Country and you’re well known, your Pay automatically is on the high side..!

Concerning bringing in the likes of Okeke, Maureen Umeh, Zogg and co, is for the future purpose not because of this game in Particular…!

🚨Lebohang Ramalepe says South Africa’s clash against Nigeria in the Olympics qualifiers is a ‘do or die’ game.

“This coming game is a tough one. Remember both of us missed the last Olympics, so it’s a do or die kind of a match.

As a team, we’re ready because we know how important this is and we just have to go there and give our best.

I really hope it doesn't happen but I won't be alarmed if South Africa beats us at home. The lack of coordination so far is concerning. It gives the impression that we aren't serious even though I want to believe the players aren't like that.

19 players are reported to be in camp so far many of whom arrived just yesterday. At least 3 players are still being expected and all 3 are our no 9. Asisat Oshoala, Ihezuo and Esther Okoronkwo. The earliest they'll arrive will be later today for a game that holds in 48 hours. They'll obviously be jetlagged and that could affect their effectiveness.

South Africa who are the guest had over 80% of their players already in Nigeria by Sunday. They are doing everything humanly possibly to win the game.

It will be painful if we miss this Olympics sha.

South africa have players based at home. Our players have to board flights to get here and we both know that anything can happen when it comes to that. I don't think this is a situation that the NFF is at fault. If anything I blame FIFA for
not arranging this break fairly. This gives a clear advantage to countries that use homebased players.

That said, if Waldrum gets things right we win EASILY

Hopefully we won’t miss it, Again what matters is getting the tactics right and the Starters too…! Our previous game against them we were lacking in midfield especially when he was still playing Chikwelu, Ajibade in midfield.

I sincerely do not blame FIFA. The modality for qualifications is CAF and CAF should have chosen a better model that allows for a level playing field. Also, these dates didn't just appear, the FIFA window for these games have been public knowledge since last year. I think we could have planned better and asked the players for a little more commitment than usual. Rinsola and Monday plays for the same club but Gift was one of the first arrival while Rinsola arrived later yesterday. I know it's a bit difficult and won't fault the players, but I think we should have been better prepared.

My concern is that we've not exactly been great with our attack and all of our 9 are yet to arrive camp. Concerning.

I am surprised people keep falling for all these mind games. All the SA people love doing is tooting their horn. They seem to be the only ones talking. That is typically a tell tale sign of being scared.
So, South Africa came into Nigeria 7 days ago. So ‘bloody well’ what? More than half of their team that came early are fringe players, who would probably not even see a minute of action. Their overseas players came in the same time our Naija ladies came in.
They have had an easy ride to this stage, playing Tanzania and Uganda - whoop tee do! Give me a break!
They wouldn’t know what hit them by the time we are done whooping them!

Sorry, but where did you get your intel from?
Who told you Monday was one of the first to arrive in camp? Don’t think that’s accurate.

Our Nigerian ladies are TOP professionals! They want to make it to the Olympics more than you or I want it. Make no mistake about that. Not sure what commitment you are talking about.

They had club games which they are obligated to attend, by virtue of their contracts and release windows mandated by FIFA. That is NOT their fault. The NFF should have been more intelligent in planning their respective itineraries to ensure they get here early. That is absolutely no fault of the players!

U know what this is a great point. If we had paused a round of WAFCON qualifiers we would have been done during the last international break and that one was more spaced out. Especially when we are now hearing WAFCON is up in the air.

Not NFF’s fault ?
Not players fault ?
Easily ? Current African champions, they also got to round 16 in the last World Cup

Imagine it was super eagles and a World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Frank Onyeka, Bassey, Ndidi, Ekong, osimhen are missing 48 hours to the game
grin
We are not serious
The South Africans are better at coordinating and organisation
Only thing we can bank on now is raw talent, prayer, rush hour experience, luck & heart. Who wants it more and can take the initiative on the field
The schedule was out a month ago
Just EXCUSES if you ask me

This means the South Africans are ready for the game today
I hope we can fine tune things before kick off time
Maybe they’ve already got the tactics & plan sorted out in a group chat
Early to camp may not really matter though
That’s how Morocco team that went to Ivory Coast got to camp early before Victor Osimhen
Before the New Year and still got knocked out in the quarter finals by South Africa

First, I probably didn't qualify Gift Monday's arrival as they better describe Ajibade and Oluehi since they were one of the few to get in on Sunday. Monday gift however was amongst the next batch to report to camp. She was amongst the second batch of names the Super Falcons page released. Rinsola cake in much later.

You also seem to have misconstrued my post. No where did I remotely blame the players or question their commitment to the team. It's why I was careful to qualify it as "a little more" for the lack of a better expression. By that I meant the NFF could have better planned the players arrival and that may mean a little more inconvenience than usual. I am also not ignorant of the players contractual obligation to their clubs, I considered all of this while making my point. Maybe an hypothetical to explain what I mean will work.

Players usually use windows like this to attend to family and domestic issues before resuming camp. This isn't unusual at all. A better plan and my "a little commitment" will mean entreating the players to make the extra sacrifice not to.

For example, 4 of our players play in Spain, the last of which had their game on Sunday Morning. Extra sacrifice plus planning will be making sure they all arrived Sunday evening. It will come at great personal cost to the players but I really do not think they would mind if the NFF planned better and at the very least make their traveling a lot more comfortable. If planned we'll, all of our plying their trade in Europe could have arrived Abuja Sunday, latest Monday morning. I expected that the last set of players to arrive camp would be the NWSL contingent because of the long flight time and even they by my calculations would still have arrived camp latest Monday night if planned well.

So this isn't blaming the players at all. My point is they could have been spurred to make extra sacrifices if the NFF planned better.

I hope you also know this isn't an isolated case. The same thing happened with the Super Eagles the last world cup qualifiers. The NFF scheduled the games so close the players were fatigued and this contributed to the double draws we had.

I remember a super falcons player explaining why travelling for national duty isn't a joy sometimes. The NFF for the most part look for cheap tickets for them. They sometimes have to have 2 stops before arrival because the NFF will rather go cheap than buy a direct flight. Little things like this go a long way.

CAF is the only federation still playing qualifiers so it's a CAF problem. Some used their continental tourney, Europe used nations league finalists, a few others followed same format as CAF but ended earlier.
