Hello guys I recently got my admission letter from conestoga to study, and my class start in September, I don’t know how to start or where to start from and they said I have to pay $1500 none refundable fee as well too

You can pay the $1500 before the deadline to retain your seat . It is non refundable if you decide to back out , but if you are denied you will be refunded.

Why do you want to wait after 1 year before you reapply?
You can save it in USD. USD/CAD is stable there is no way CAD will be more than USD.

I want to apply after 1year because I feel they want to limit people coming in for a while and relax the rules later

I'll advise you to convert your CAD to USD. Never make any attempt to convert it back to Naira. Also, if the money you used as POF is in naira, please convert it to USD. Better to be safe than sorry because Nigerian economy is too unstable.

Thanks

Please LEAVE your funds in USD. The economic fundamentals do not any scenario the Naira will become stronger than the USD. Except you want to do business in Nigeria

Guys I need your advice. I'm 43 and really want to travel to Canada. So because of limited funds I met an agent today and he told me study route is best for me despite my age. And that he would apply for a loan with mpower and I would reimburse under 15 years. Infact he showed me proof that he has gotten $27k for other clients. That I would switch to masters in business administration. I have bachelor's and one year masters in law and political science. That for housing he will organize it for me in Canada and so on. Please is this possible? Has anyone passed through this?

Good Evening All,

Please I got an original passport request today but I have a Schengen appointment tomorrow.
Is it possible to shift my passport drop off for my Canada visa, in case I'm unable to meet up with the 30 days timeline due to my passport being held for Schengen processing?

Hello SeunFive,

It is very possible to seek an extension with a cogent reason(s) coupled with proof.

Good Evening everyone. Please I would like to ask if anyone knows where best to find scholarships for PhD Science/Engineering programs

Hello Bobodudu100,

Usually, the Ph.D. study comes with full or partial funding in most Canadian institutions. Start by securing a supervisor. You can check with the University of Calgary, the University of Victoria, and others.

Hello Mayrhe,

This shouldn't be a problem before now, but the rules are changing and becoming stiff, and to avoid any uncertainty, you may consider using the webform. I believe this would help you relax.

Hello ColdHunter,

Gather your documents that cover areas of finance, employment, home ties, etc. Check the thread for detailed documents others have submitted. Note that each applicant's situation is different and only select documents that relate to your situation best.

BTW, what is your course of study and program?

Things to watch out for:

• Avoid (unexplained) lump sum deposits, if possible;

• Pay the complete part of your tuition and have your living expenses in your account;

• ensure your account has historical inflows that amount to an accumulated closing balance;

• Work on your home ties and if using a sponsor, prove a strong relationship to the individual and the individual should try as much as possible to show financial commitment;

• Demonstrate reliable financial means by providing relevant sufficient documents;

• Ensure your supporting documents are legible and uploaded in the right column;

• Be sincere, and if there are any discrepancies in your personal information or situation, use the LOE to give clarity while using the SOP to elaborate on your study intent. If you feel like outsourcing your immigration letter(s), chat with GCMSWriters on IG/X;

• Declare any prior refusals, especially to the US, the UK, NZ, or Aussie;

• Lastly, avoid revealing too much information. Only give that which directly pertains to justifying your application. Quote me if you need additional information (or clarity) you couldn't find in the (previous) thread.

Hello Mbapelvis,

If the paid rep is applying on your behalf to a Master's program at a university eligible to qualify its prospective students for the MPower Finance study loan, then the rep can secure a loan for you without hassle.

One thing is collecting a student loan, and another is demonstrating to the officer to have a sustainable financial source durable enough to pay off the debt without harming the source.

It will be best for your application, despite the loan, your economic means show healthy financial activities in your POF. Since you are using a rep., I guess you'll be better guided. However, how to proceed is at your sole discretion.

Good day boss,

Please can you help me to clarify this.
I want to submit my visa application soon.
My sister had earlier paid in 30million into my account in lump on Nov last year. So I intend printing my statement of account reading from December.
My question is do I still have to explain the lump sum even though it won't show in my statement considering that I will print from Dec which is one month after the fund was transferred.

Also, to use as home ties, I intend to finalise my marriage plans with my girlfriend by next month and getting Certificate of marriage from our customary Court. Is this advisable and can it be used?
Also she is currently a month pregnant, can I aswell state this in my SOP and do I need to provide the documentation to back up the pregnancy?

Thanks

Hello guys please who do they book biometrics appointment now. Been trying to use the VFS Website (the Online option) to create an account and make the booking but I can't create an account. Once I type in a password while creating the account the password will just clear off immediately I click Submit.

I also tried using the webform but they keep redirecting me to the online option. Please help.

I really appreciate you.

One more thing please.

The scholarship covers my first year tuition.

Would this still need to form part of my POF?

My husband is my sponsor and he has an account with heavy inflow of about 25m balance. Would this amount be sufficient?

I'm a Nurse in a Federal Institution (1yr plus), but have less than 1m in my account even though my salary is close to 200k. Would this be a problem?

Use a combination of small and capital alphabet, number, and typographical symbol in your password. Also take note of the length/character/word.

MSc and PhD applicants are excepted to apply without PAL.
You will even see it on your application page if you have gotten PAL or not and exceptional applicants.
