Or so that he can distribute money for us to be able to pay

This one forgot to add housing cost and cost of living in Canada and Ghana , our neighbour grin
Anything to blackmail the country.
You want good things , but you don't want to pay for it.
The subsidy has gone on for too long that people now feel entitled.
If car cost has been subsidized, I'm sure some will be making a comparison like this.
Again, these are the same people that will deny ever getting anything from Nigeria, yet they don't want the subsidy removed.

I'm using a prepaid meter, so far the power supply is regular, I don't mind.
The question is not whether you mind but if you can afford it

There's a lot of irritating things like you online.

I wander why you lowlifes can't just write your own comment instead of crying about other people's comment.

If there's regular power supply, I don't mind the price cause I use a prepaid meter, it's my personal opinion, am not speaking for you or your family.
That is not how to get a better nation. If you can afford any amount as electricity what about the poor? Aren't they entitled to electricity also? So you do not care since you can afford it? Tell me how you're safe living amongst the poor with I don't care attitudes?

We are yet to get it right. And it is quite unfortunate. No power, you're increasing tarrifs.. Just trying to spark revolution that will consume us all. Is this the time to increase tarrifs? Is this how to develop a country?

Most of you just jump on every thread....while most of you do not even belong in the cat A who are going to be paying the new tariff. I thought most of you do not enjoy the power, why complain....This shid be for people who enjoys 20hrs daily

How hard is it to understand that this will have a ripple effect on prices of commodities just as the petrol price hike did? Is there foam in your head?

You are comparuing Nigeria to countries with advanced power supply. Nigeria is expensive because demand is high while supply is low. Its simple economics. The more attractive our power sector is, the more generation and supply and the less we will pay. Also lets not forget that many nigeria bypass power leading to more loss.
So are you saying others should pay for those who are bypassing

Are we suppose to pay for inefficiency.. ?
Who is responsible for making the power sector attractive ?
Who is responsible for ensuring that folks dont bypass power ?
In fact..
all the landlords in my area contributed to buy a new transformer
With installation wires ... still pay labor charges ontop....
And yet we go still pay this high price again...

Nigerians are using prepaid meter, you will only pay for what you use.

South Africans and Canadians don't use prepaid meter
