But why can't Okoronkwo and Babajide start SF matches? These missed chances are just too much
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:56pm On Apr 05
Was always gonna be tough for the super talented Zambians against a team coached by the latest WWC-winning coach, Jorge Vilda.

FT Nigeria 1-0 South Africa.

It all comes down to the 2nd leg with us holding a slim advantage.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 7:04pm On Apr 05
Nice that the SF have now gone 14 matches unbeaten…

But they need to be more clinical on Tuesday; and in that regard Okoronkwo, Babajide, and Oshoala must be in the starting lineup

One thing I know for sure is Randy always Play better in Return Leg… The girls will have enough time to rest now and prepare for the 2nd Leg in South Africa! At least Ihezuo shouldn’t start… it’s now between Esther Okoronkwo and Asisat Oshoala upfront!

Hmm, Ajibade nko? One of Randy’s favorite, she hardly gets substituted

Do they really know how distracting this coverage is such that to even try to analyze performance no dey sweet person. Overall, Alozie was poor throughout. Thanks to Christy for cleaning her slate several times over. Randy should allow Joe and Esther play together abeg. The synergy will be better. I love how Deborah marks. We need to know who instilled that style into her from scratch. Up next, the altitude that Ellis said will disturb our play. I hope we don't fail there.

If deciders come up to Kanu, just know the outcome is 99-1 for fail. She's terrible. Nobody gets into such space like her but she never buries any. None!! Mtchew. At least Ihezuo won us a pk after a long time no see. I keep saying kanu na bench starter. Overall, the midfielders carried the day. Okeke is like the Zinny vs Tierney talk. She is good defensively but nothing much offensively

But truly ba? Bringing in Ihezuo to start this game was tactical from Randy and it really confused South Africa because they didn't really know her. They thought Oshoala will start. Kudos to Randy

She too try Abeg, a Makeshift Center Back Doing it as if she’s originally a Center Back, Thanks to Benfica for also playing her there which also gave us the mind that she would deliver..!

How many chances Thembi Kgatlana get for the game sef??😂😂

he should try and avoid romance with those moroccan gals. Arabs dont joke with their women
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:19pm On Apr 05
Yes, I expect Oshoala to start the second leg and Esther Okoronkwo as well. Both hit camp late so it was tactically understandable of Randy to bench them for this first leg encounter bringing in only Esther sef and leaving Superzee out entirely.

I see us scoring more than 1 in SA.

Christy Ucheibe is the best well rounded MF in Africa. And also the Strongest of them all among African women MFs. What a player!!! Super versatile. Intelligent. Tactically aware. Insanely strong. A true Baller abeg. We are so favoured to have her truly.
CB, DM, CM, box to box... she dey dia 100%💯

Kgatlana? She was quite a ghost in this game. Maybe this (pic below) was the closest she came sef... (if that is her sef coz link-craze no gree me differentiate).

So we couldn't thrash 17 home based bayana bayana side with our foreign based squad and we call ourselves giants
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by naptu2: 7:28pm On Apr 05
It would have been so much better if we went back to the old arrangement. So much better.

Allow the NTA to broadcast the match live. Allow them to sell advert slots and the NTA and NFF can share the profit. They would have used their OB van. We did that decades ago! Why are we regressing?

You’re on point. I forgot about her being one of his faves.

Nonetheless, for Tuesday’s game I would favor a 4-3-3; with the team having 7 players behind the ball whenever SA are on the attack.
Because SA would surely be desperate to score, they would likely throw caution to the wind in the attacks, which would leave ample room for our speedy front three to exploit the resultant gaps

They even have 2 partners that broadcast the league games weekly and they are doing a great job. Propel sports or something does the livestream and so far they've been great. Startimes does the Cable TV part.

How is it difficult asking one or both to take charge of this? It is just the height of irresponsibility.
