Our Under-18s who have an Under-18 Premier League Cup final today are already weakened by the emergency promotion of a couple of their best players to the senior team. Injuries to Rashford and McTom, Bruno, Garnacho will be too huge a blow for both senior and Under-18 teams.

It is not about Rashford. It is about numbers. Any more injury and our entire bench will be Under-18, many of whom are not ready to face men. If Amad replaces Rashy due to lack of form and Rashy goes to the bench, that is okay. If Amad and Antony leave the bench to replace Rashy and Garnacho due to injuries, who replaces them on the bench?
