Reno will not rant about this because Anambra is considered as no one state in terms of good Education |

Mindlog: Exactly on point. Now, it depends on the competition from your home state, Imo. So if the Kaduna girl even scored less, but Kaduna quota is not filled or the competition is on pure merit. Then the Kaduna girl stood a higher chance. So if there are higher scores from Imo, her chances will be lower despite her high marks. 2 Likes |

Jokerman: This here is totally wrong and old... Now there's something called selection committee that seats to set up cut off mark for each zones and it has nothing to do with perculiarity of a state buh highest and lowest grades scored in the particular zone, states and schools..... |

Mindlog: I scored 571. Number 1 candidate on the list then; though in the north. Was busy searching for my name from below with my dad; didn’t know I was number 1 on the list… #memories☺️ |

Jokerman: THE ANSWER IS BECAUSE SOME PARTS OF THE COUNTRY HAVE ACCEPTED THAT THEIR CHILDREN ARE DOMED AND WILL REMAIN SO FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION. SO, THEY MUST BE TREATED AS FAILURES AT ENTRY LEVEL. 1 Like |

Richtaiwo: Oga, your own brand of mumu is disgusting. Where else in the world do you see that a child who scores 138 from Anambra will be denied admission in favour of a child who scores 4 from Zamfara? Does it make sense to you ... if not that Nigeria as a country is sick? . 3 Likes 1 Share |

Kontinu wasting your time. Make the Cut-Off Mark 0, most northern parents will never send their children to those so-called unity schools. The irony: Unity beggers don't go to unity schools but unity haters troop to unity schools |

adecz: You tried so hard to display intelligence but end up looking bad in the eyes of the intelligent. The aim of Unity school is not to admit the best students from the best states. It is for students of all states to study together, interact, understand and tolerate each other. At the end, foster National Unity. 2 Likes |

StOla:The people that have a cut of mark set at two know what to expect from the students, because you have not seen northern students being taught English language in hausa, they will pass, those that are willing to go even further will go further. |

How can a child who scores 139 be in the same classroom, take the same lecture, and write the same exam as a child who scores 2? The teachers would have to go to the level of the child who got admission with 2 while teaching, thereby dulling the sharp brain of the child who scored 139. Admission should be by merit. Let us stop scarifying good brains from quota 2 Likes |

adanny01: You missed the point... The fact that they are called unity schools doesn't mean that you should bring illiterates to come and enter secondary school. That is the aim of the common entrance exams, to get a baseline. We can as well be allowing cutoff marks of 30/400 for JAMB for Northern students in order to meet their admission quotas. Those with the 30/ 400 can be admitted to read medicine and give them the degrees, whether they pass or not, so that we can post them to your village to treat your people. 2 Likes |

It is not proper to be ranked educationally disadvantage state since 1976. That is 48 years of pampering children to accept that they don't need to aim high. At times I wonder if those supporting this anomaly will accept students who study medicine be admitted with score of 2 over 400 in jamb 3 Likes |

There are "educationally disadvantaged" regions. If we want to have a peaceful society, those quota scores have to be allowed. |

I wrote this exam when it used to be out of 600, I scored 502. FGC Nibo and Nise, I messed up the interview by putting Kings College Lagos. Education was sweet then. P.O did great for us in Anambra. I don't know about any other thing but u see education. No one comes close to P.O. There's also Gifted that year, I don't know if it still exists? Today I'm a graduate of Human Anatomy after trying so many times to get into med sch. I'll try again after my masters tho. 2 Likes |

Jokerman: The person who scored 2 or 3 from the north is far better than the person that scored 1000 from Anambra or Imo because those scores from Anambra are products of miracle centres while the northern scores are genuine scores. |
