90minutes in the Bag…, Nicole Payne really stood out last night as she kept Trinity Rodman Quiet especially the entire First Half…. Hopefully more game time to boost her confidence so that she can regain her level.

She’s giving that kind of Desire Oparanozie size, hope she gets to take her chance when called up again as she is that typical Nigerian top9 that can Finnish, bully her way through the defense.

You Nigerians are a funny lot...
The days of power football is long gone. The modern game is all about speed, slickness and finishing. That's why the likes of Salma Paralluelo, Trinity Rodman, Sophia Smith, Maria Katoto, Rachel Daly and others are a hot commodity.
On the Nigerian front, the likes of Kanu, Ihezuo and Oshoala are thriving, while gra-gra players like Oparanozie, retired, and now her look alike - Macleans, are a thing of the past.
Again, speed of thought and pace, slickness and finishing.
Enough with this up selling of this lady, please!

I can bet you have never watched that girl play before. What exactly do you mean by the day of power football has long gone? Why do you think Randy called Ihezuo out of the blues for that South Africa double header?
You have shown you didn't fancy that girl personally though so I was not expecting anything less from you.

We are not lacking anything at the 9. Oshoala, Okoronkwo and Ihezuo have things locked down right now.

She should keep it up sha cos consistency pays off

So you think Macleans is a slow player because she’s big?? Common go and correct yourself right now, for her size she’s very much quicker than some of the forwards in our Attack right now.

Ihezuo vs Macleans, In terms of Speed Macleans is quicker sef.. And I haven’t even seen much difference between her and them Oshoala, Kanu right now.

The truth is you don’t fancy her and don’t also follow her game. Just because Desire Oparanozie retired doesn’t mean it was cus of pace.

Right now I will put it to you that Macleans is quicker than Ifeoma Onumonu, Esther Okoronkwo and Chinwendu Ihezuo etc.

Can you just come clean that you don’t like Macleans as a Player or maybe you have your personal grudge against her because I see no way that this Lady is a Bad Striker…

She has grown a lot as a Player, From Nigeria to Belarus down to Poland and now Russia.. The girl is on a rise she still have age on her side as she will be 25 this year.!

I believe if she was playing in the NWSL, France or Spain you won’t be talking her down.

I think randy has already seen enough and shut the door on her , she sealed her own fate at the last AWCON

Not getting a call up now doesn’t mean she won’t be given a chance again, I remember how the Door was shut against the likes of Rita Chikwelu, Faith Ikidi, Ogbonnna Chukwudi, Anam IMO, Ebere Orji, Chinwendu Ihezuo and many more in the past and still got called up again..

Look how Ihezuo played her way back in Mexico, if she gets to her top level performance again she will get a look, the Door isn’t closed yet except she retires by the way she’s still 24yrs.. Enough time to come back!

Chikwelu , faith and Anam imo when last did they play for super falcons even though they are not retired from international football, randy is not looking their side anymore he shut the door on them just like onome she's not retired but randy won't call her again and you should know from the start ihezuo was big part of randy squad ...maclean only went to awcon because of esther injury and fans making noise

I put their name there because it happened to them in the past under different coaches…!

Macleans was very much inform and just won the Golden Boot of the Polis Women’s League then which gave her that extra edge nothing like because one or another was injured. She earned her spot and Randy spoke well of her, and she’s currently doing fine!
