As for the salary you mentioned then it is obvious that you overlooked the point I raised.

The cost of living in the states will still take a chunk of that money and at the end, the nurse making less in UK will have far more savings than the nurse in the states making higher salary.

For the accommodation I can tell you for a fact that it is far more affordable in UK. This is a fact.

There is absolutely no comparison between UK and the US in terms ease of life for immigrants.

US is structured to accept people from outside the country and for them to seek and achieve their dreams. This is why they even have a class of people called Dreamers.
There are so many Nigerians that have left the UK to come live in US but the reverse is not common.

Uk life is “ managing “, in the US even the lowest paid workers can afford to own and maintain a private car for comfort, unlike jumping public buses in the UK. Believe it or not, the US is a country flowing with milk and honey . Lots of opportunities.
