Massive thanks for your kind assistance and response. I intend to legalize my police clearance and other documents of mine. Will it be possible to link me with the agent that did yours? Can you inform me about the financial requirement as at the time you did yours? Also, how long did it take for the documents to be legalized and returned to you?
For now I can't link you with the agent cos I haven't seen is work done
Maybe when he did mine successfully, then I can recommend him

You need a work visa. What type of driving license do you have? B or C? If it is C. Apply immediately at Konzum supermarket. They badly need C-type drivers, and they offer work permits.

I think you can use hotel reservations or Airbnb for the visa application. When you arrive, you can start looking for an apartment.

For any student who wants to study in Croatia, your best option is https://www.algebra.hr/international-school/winter-school/tuition-fees-payments/.   They offer student visas for new applicants. Good luck.

After waiting for over a week for their email response and nothing, I had to email them again on Monday last week and they responded within 2 hours saying my application has been subjected to substantial checks by different authorities . That once the decision is made , i will be notified through VFS.

That was not the kind of response I expected because in my email I made to know and tell how much longer I have to wait to get my visa.
But what can I do, i just have to wait.

Re: Living In Croatia - Work And Study Route by charmingsamson(op): 10:33am On Jun 19, 2024
If you are interested in applying for a job in Croatia, send an email with all required documents to this agency. All my Filipino coworkers at my workplace came through this agency. I heard they recruit from the Philippines and India, but you have to give it a try. The agency will collect 20 percent of your salary if they offer you a work permit. Police clearance is very important when applying for a Croatian work permit. If you have someone in South Africa, Europe, or anywhere, there is a Nigerian embassy and a Croatian embassy. They could help you notary it. You just need to write a power of attorney notary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja and send it to him or her to help you notarize your police clearance. Remember, there is a shortage of assistant chefs, warehouse workers, plumbers, and cleaners. Make sure your CV has years of experience, even if you don't have any. It is very important.
- CV
- Passport copy (must be valid for at least 2.5 years)
- Passport size picture
- NBI with apostille or police clearance with MOFA and embassy stamp is mandatory
- Copy of high school or college diploma
Applications without complete documentation are invalid.
