Lots of single mothers were too nice and naive and were used and dumped.
Some thought they were too smart and didn't heed warning about bad guys. Used and dumped.
Some escaped violence or widowed.

Many nice single mums won't be as nice once you have married them.

Some will still be nice.

BUT your biggest headache is the Kids. From my experience over decades, 90% will never be satisfied with your effort.
They will feel their father if around would have done better. VERY ungrateful. After using your youthful energy to raise them before even raising your biological children.

I won't advise anyone to do it.
