I take it you are still young. There are actually 2 factors that promopt us to desiree procreation which is Society and Nature.
Society prompts us to have kids that will care for us and keep our company as we go through life in both comfort or struggles.

Society also influences us to have kids since other people are having cute little babies which is also a result of sex. Sex is important, forget people trying to shy away from it.

Secondly, NATURE will compel you to follow through certain changes both in physical looks and mental wise (thought process). As a lady once you get to 22, you start to feel like you are pretty. Everything about you is special and beautiful. Men too will come in droves and your sexual urge might be over bearing for you at that point. That's nature playing with you.

Then your thought process will start changing and you'll want a lover to care for you and belong to. Mind you, you might not even think about having a baby at this point. But nature is driving you towards sex... And sex leads to motherhood.

So it's time, as you grow your thought process will change from a non-conformist to a Comformist

Is it bad that I want to have children without getting married? I really do not want a husband, I just want a partner, that is, a long term boyfriend I will live with. Since I was small I have always preferred long term relationships to actual marriage, because I feel marriage is pointless, overrated and outdated. But, I still want children though only 2 because I don't believe you have to be married to have children.

Stop lying to her! Nature does no such thing! Rather, it is the society that tries to bully people into accepting ideas that they are not themselves comfortable with.

■ No ma. If you read my post well you will see I noted two factors which are Nature and Society..those two influence humans

Nature does nothing of the sort you claimed. Nature only makes available a possibility for women to choose whether or not to have kids. Nature cannot force a woman to bear a child; it equally does not punish her for not having a child.

Yes, there are people out there who lack those desires and urges that you probably struggle with; there are equally those out there who have learned to bring under control their urges and desires that they no longer battle with them as they used to.

If you really truly don't give a shit what society wants or asks of you then why bother asking anyone these things. You were not born pregnant from your mother's womb; no one was. Childbearing is a choice to be made by those who are comfortable with the idea and able to bear the responsibility that goes along with it.
