I don't really have male friends, I find it difficult relating with them too.

Like I advised on the other thread, make male friends and your problem is half solved.

If a guy is feeling down, cheer him up with a few words of encouragement.
Take yourself out, start conversations with quite guys like yourself. Feign ignorance, ask questions, listen genuinely to whatever they are saying, share your own point of view. Keep practicing this and you will endear yourself to guys and later ladies.

Don't practice being a talkative or over socializing because it's not your nature, develop a curiosity, especially of quit people, practice breaking the barriers they put up, forget about yourself and don't feel too bad when they don't open up (you hate rejection).

Being shy and reserved is still attractive, just refine the traits and you are good.

Being shy was good for me years back, not no more.
People want you to talk and more importantly, make them to talk. Making them to talk isn't asking questions as it turns them off.
This is what I'm finding difficult to do.

I just checked one of my FB account, a lady in one state I reside 3 years ago dropped a chat. She recently go married, like four months ago.

She just said, "longest time" which I replied. She asked how I was doing and I'm okay.

She kept mute and I didn't chat again. I on the other hand was left vague about what I was to say next.

As for taking myself out, I'll try doing that and all other points you've raised. Thank you.

As for the lady, ask her what makes marriage succeed or fail, from a ladies perspective.

I used to have fear of women as a teenager. I was plagued with a low self esteem growing up and there was this day I was determined to toast this very popular girl.

I told my bro and as a loudmouth, he told everyone and ths girl in question was already aware of my intentions.

She was looking at me like expecting me to make the move, my heart was thumbing very fast at the sight of this girl.

Na so I aborted mission that day and could not proceed as planned. I was 19yr old then and I later became a skillful hunter of women.

Her name was Rose from Kogi, very beautiful and charming personality. Me and her elder bros later became close friend.

Aborting missions is normal with me. Sometimes, I'll gather the courage to proceed and while making the move, I'll ask myself, what will I tell her then, mission will be aborted.
