With what I have seen severally, I want to know whether its normal for ladies to use words like you are very stupid or your brain is not correct on their boyfriends or husband during quarrels.
I have seen like two people that do it very well and they said its normal in a relationship.
Does it mean that guys who do not take such words from their partners are too hard and expect too much of respect?

I dont think their is anything wrong,afterall I may use it on her also very often

Ok dats good. I think I'm filled with the naija mentality of different levels of respect on d side of d male and female. i.e a woman giving more repect 2 a man while hers won't be exactly d same in return

It all depend on ow evryone reads meanin 2 words... Sumone lik me,no mata wat u say 2 me,it does not make me move an inch..

Bur sum pple cant take abusive word,talkless of insult..Irrespective of whu d person his...

Are men & women now into competition about who can insult the more?? or who gives more respect. I'd say you don't use such words except thats what you are made off!!! Not all ladies / guys scream insult at their partners no matter what. There are peeps who couldn't insult just any commoner on the street - That's what I call discipline / class.
Have you not seen someone shouting, you are mad, insane, idiot bla bla bla on his/her partner yet the other person couldn't even utter such statements in return. - That's the best response to give to such low-lifer.

It is wrong and highly disrespectful.

I will only tolerate it when we are playing or catching fun once there is quarrel she must mind her tongue if not I will pull it out for her

But myself!I don't play insult with my GF and so does she.the last I could say is "you ain't serious"

For me, it's all levels of inappropriate abeg. I wouldn't do it so I don't give room for it. Which kind childish play na abi love

Don't allow yourself be deceived. I always hear people saying women are more emotional than men and that the way to a man's heart is respect. These remarks are always made as if to say the other partner doesn't deserve same or equal levels of those things. Sorry to say this, you should never have asked this question. Who in their right sense will think using expletives on others is right? kai... I just don't understand people anymore. Certain things are supposed to have been learnt either vicariously or directly through ones personal experiences. So to answer you without sentiment, no one wants to be treated disrespectfully even when they are wrong. I personally do not waste time alienating myself from such people. Even when I do it inadvertently, I always feel very sad about it, take time to apologise properly and mend fences. I once messed up with a quote on this forum( I didn't even use cuss words but wasn't pious enough and felt my actions where just ignoble), so I deactivated the account. It's also necessary to learn how to be sober and calm even in frenetic situations.
