Only one advice, don't drive through water. Steering rack go spoil and it is very expensive

Story...he should upgrade his tyres to 235/50/17 rims. Steering rwck only spoils once watwr enters the cabin,floor mats,up to pedal level.the best car lexus did were lexus 2jz,lexus sc and lexus LS. The rest na dodo

Also the Lexus logo on my bonnet has come off, any way to stick this back?

It's normal with Lexus ES250 1991 models.

Check the seat adjustment motor if its worn out.
For the logo that fell off, get it back there with super glue.

AFS light on means your front lighting system is not swiveling. Check if you had a front impact that damaged the headlights and was changed with a non afs type. Scan the car with a scan tool that can read the chassis/body codes.
As for your delay in acceleration, its normal with mazda 323f hatchbacks.

But note that auto compressor spoils within weeks cos it doesnt tolerate any form of dirt. Go ahead na. Since na yankee we dey. I think people like you should be completely avoided in an intelligent discussion as far as cars are concerned.
I bought a brand-new compressor from eBay, shipped it down to Nigeria, and had it fixed by Mosbus. All this happened two years ago, and to this day, the car compressor is still in perfect working condition.
Why would you even advise someone to use a manual compressor when they can afford an automatic one?

This Hardex, I don't want to call out a whole company wrongly. I had a customer who did oil change with this brand on his 2 cars: Acura MDX 2008 and Toyota Camry 2009. It will be unebelievable if I tell you that the Camry's engine got knocked, on the same day, the Acura's oil light too was blinking. Luckily I was on call with his wife(she drives the Acura) when this incident occured. I instructed her to quickly shut off the car and seek a mechanic that I can guide remotely. The oil and the filter were changed and that was all. For the camry, I ended up having to rebuild the engine for almost 300k, plus the gear was slipping too, had to fix that. 450k later, the car was back on the road. Toks engine and gearbox was like 1.1m then

So back to the topic, I advice you go back to what we knew. Mobil is fine IF you buy from a Mobil filling station. But the right grade!

Good day sir. You seem very knowledgeable with cars and I need your assistance.
I'm having an issue with my car. A 2009 lexus rx350. The axle got bad and was changed. The mechanic and I were testing the car and noticed the car seemed to be finding it difficult to change gears. We took it back to the workshop and the mechanic added some gear oil and asked me to drive it for a few days and the issue week stop.
On my way home from the mechanic, I noticed the car was finding it difficult to speed up until it eventually stopped. I turned it back on and the car wasn't going into Drive anymore, only reverse. Called the mechanic and he came to pick up the car and now it was driving properly so I'm guessing it was able to go into drive after the engine cooled down.
Mechanic is now telling me I need to change the fibre in the gears or to buy a new gear (meanwhile I never had any gear issues prior to changing the axle). Have you had any cases similar to this before? I'll be glad if you give any suggestions

In the process of changing the axle maybe just maybe dirt has enter the gearbox itself.
Changing fibre inside a 13pin gear box is complicated tho might work and might not work.
Have the car scan and drop scan result sir.
But have it at the back of ur mind sir that you might end up replacing the gearbox tho.

Brand new compressor is always the best way to go. The used compressor on eBay is taking a 50/50 chance... And I hope you are using the original 134a gas .. If u are not using the original 134a gas than you are throwing money down the pit...... And na just matter of time before the new compressor packs up. So keep that in mind... The fake 134a gas is one of the major reasons that a compressor packs up........


And the only time I will advice people to use manual compressor is if the car na junk car .. At times a brand new compressor cost more than the car itself.......


But if are driving a grade A car and you to drive the car for long and avoid mechanics re arranging your a/c system please use brand new compressor and original engine oil ..........

My last Lagos trip I saw a 2013 / 2014 model. It was red in color. It had USA factory tinted windows rim etc everything about that Rx350 was factory made. The car clean die. The paint on that car was excellent no blemish at all. I felt like stopping the guy and advertise my Mobil 1 engine oil 0w20 ..lol

The new a/c compressor go last you forever . make sure you continue to use the original 134 A gas. If you do that no matter how hot the weather gets . The a/c setting on the lowest will be more than enough.. Na you go dey go complain say the car is too cold . and u go dey wind down window
