The panel can be repaired but the technicians are very few,not all these basic technicians that all they do is screen replacement and charging port replacement
The panel was shutting down gradually with the several rebooting

So in essence, the panel isn't something that can be fixed right??

The phone is 4 years+ actually and I have never opened/repaired it.

I forgot to mention, before going off completely, some weeks back, it started rebooting itself repeatedly, until I hard restarted severally (rebooting the system) before it powered on.

And surprisingly, when I connect/unplug the phone on my laptop, I hear the (a device detection sound).

When you are ready to get a new phone,Pls avoid substandard brands like redmi,itel, infinix and some Tecno products ,look out for budget phones from brands like oppo ,vivo moto rola, OnePlus budget phones not flagship, avoid Samsung flagship (screen wahala)and also avoid used Samsung budget phones(deadboot wahala).

My Redmi 8 4/64 GB died about a week ago and has refused to power on even as i type this.

What could possibly be the cause?? Could it be a hardware or software issue??, Because since 2020 when I bought the phone, I have never opened/repaired it.

I took it to a phone repairer to check the phone and it seems he isn't sure what is wrong with the phone, at first he said battery, and later on he said my battery hasn't completely died, that it should have been able to power the phone.

He is speculating maybe power ic or board itself, but for now I don't even know what's wrong with the car.

Pls house, I need your humble opinion/suggestions, as I have been phone less for about a week now.

My location is Minna, Niger state, so if anyone has a phone repairer that specializes in Redmi phones around minna.

Google pixel 5a 5G screen can cost between 120k-150k that’s if you’re buying follow come on a good bargain, they are also rare in the market, at least from my end.
It’s advisable to buy follow come screens, Chinese copies are good sha, but the quality of the display and the bezels are what gives them off

Someone sent a tokunbo Samsung S5 to me from abroad but I tried to flash it at many technicians but it keeps on saying I should enter the email and password used to register it. I don't know the email or the password.

Now, that's what we call FRP (Factory Reset Protection), and it's triggered when you erase or flash a phone without removing the Google account from it first.
There are many tutorials on how to remove it, depending on your phone. For Samsung, I suggest you try SamFrp tool, or you pay an engr to help bypass it
