This is great... thanks man. I saw the 50k per annum stuff too. This is just so perfect but I really want to change environment for a while not that I'm not okay with the state I am presently. As in, just for few months or up to a year and then come back and that's why I even said I won't mind any good African country. Like you rightly said, economy of the country shouldn't be my headache but a country with good security is just fine. Thanks for your time, Bro. I appreciate
You work indoors and concerned about security in Nigeria . What would someone like me that does 6 states in a week say

You have 15m and work online , and security is your priority . Move to Asokoro , gwarimpa and her likes

Banana Island and her likes too. If you get killed in those cities in Nigeria, then you can be killed in New York City too .

My thoughts tho

I will advise you to come to Kenya. Good roads, good electricity, security is good. And you will enjoy your stay. You will not regret it.

Sorry, but I don't see why you should be bothered about the economy of a country if you are targeting digital nomad visas. It does not follow as those visas are meant for persons who have jobs outside the economy of the host nation. As for security, Barbados and the Bahamas are pretty okay by international standards. Oh yes! You would have to return to Nigeria if you decide to go through DN visas as they don't lead to permanent residency or naturalisation. Lastly, 15 million naira is too inadequate to relocate these days except via a standard work visa which the employing organisation should organise or assist you with. For instance, the Barbados DN visa program requires the applicant to earn at least $50K per annum as a digital nomad. We would have some people talk about how they spent less to relocate, but to which country and on what visa? Those are the questions you should ask anyone who believes 15 million is adequate to relocate these days.

My advice? If where you are in Nigeria is becoming unbearable for you, move to another state in another region. That is the saving grace Nigeria has compared to many other African countries. Your 15 million would go a long way in Taraba as opposed to Lagos, but you are still in Nigeria.
15m is peanut to relocate out of Nigeria. Me, I am moving back to Nigeria.

The laws here are changing too. For instance here in chile they want to change the law for the time to apply for nationality from 5 to 10. They also want to make it very hard to attain permanent residency. Argentina is also looking to modify their citizenship law to 20 years. Brazil has become very anti immigration too. It’s no longer easy to get a Brazilian visa from an African country anymore. I am just glad I left Nigeria when I did so none of the changes affect me but from 2025 leaving Nigeria will be almost impossible not just based on funds but on the laws in many countries.

Liar from the pit of hell

Hmmm... Let me wait for some more suggestions. But pls, suggest some good countries too so I can pick and start processing immediately pls. I don't necessarily need to wait till next year before I start processing. If I even get Visa this year, I will just wait till February next year so I can finish my project before leaving.

Thanks man!!
Start from Benin Republic if you don't mind. Their tech ecosystem is burgeoning and is worth the while if you are in tech. As a remote worker, you can still work from there and come to Nigeria anytime you like. Electricity is relatively stable, internet is good but a bit expensive compared with Nigeria, neighbourhoods are safer, and social infrastructure is way better than here.

P.S: I'm not fully into tech or living in Benin fully, but as a tour operator, I move around and always appreciate the country whenever I go there. May consider moving there next year.

@ednut1, @Evidenx, Please, kindly help me with this question. I've searched for countries offering Digital Nomad Visa and I have been checking the countries one by one.

Now, I saw Georgia and Barbados which seems so easy for me to enter due to their E-visa opportunities.

Please, any advice regarding the 2 countries? Are they good - (security, economy etc).

Pls help me!! Thanks so much!!

I "may" come back after some months. I sha want to leave this country for some months to rest well and have some peace of mind.

Thanks again
I don't know about Georgia, but Barbados? Guy, just go to Kenya or even Mauritius.

You're so right about the last part of your post.
Cost of living is relatively low in a place like Jos for instance. Plus fresh, cheap foods, and beautiful weather.

This is a very wrong time to relocate. Most countries are becoming very anti immigration now.
So when is the right time? Or he should just remain here?

Slaves with low self-esteem.
Don't you know that so many Americans and Europeans are fade up of their country?
You are speaking as if there is a nation that guarantees long life and prosperity?

I would suggest you try Luxembourg or Sweden,,, especially Sweden seriously looking for foreigners these days to boost their economy,,,and you are entitled to 35k dollars as a foreigner there ,,, it's free
To get work there and studies is easy,,,
I also heard Luxembourg is the most educated country in the world and handsomely paying their workers ,, you can make findings to validate my points

try Portugal or Spanish digital nomad visa. They offer a pathway to citizenship. Malta and Croatia is easy too but no pathway to citizenship. I assure you that you can run the process with 15M. But you need to be fast cause as others have said, laws are changing

Ghana is too expensive for a Nigeria, not much difference between Nigeria and Ghana, only stable electricity, starting a business there is not easy due to govt laws
Working from home !!! How Wil the government know about the people working from home ? Get another excuse please ! Stable power supply is all you need and which is available in Ghana .
All the countries I mentioned have stable power !!! Which is the main backbone of working from home 🏠

I want to be a presenter, oap, broadcaster. What country can i go to and get employed in this career?
Does this mean you don't have any degree or certification in this field of interest?
If so, it'd be difficult to get employment directly from Nigeria
