They look big in that picture, but in reality, they're tiny.

APC has really done well. How are people surviving? I'm going to chew two of them. I don't know why I like it raw.

The best thing I do now is to always make sure I know the equivalent in Dollar to feel better. When told myself, "Calm down, it's just $0.18," I felt better. If not for this, I would've been ranting.

This one is not about the government. Just that it's not onion season.

This one is even better. Four of this is 1k in my area.

According to the information we all are reading in this thread, beans are cheaper in Lagos than it has otherwise been.

You after all need to add transportation cost to get it from 5k in the north to whatever you sell it in Lagos, and you'd likely add the cost of your shop in Lagos plus staff to that to make any profit from your effort.

I do have a suggestion though. You can always travel from Lagos to the north to buy a painter at cheap 5k. And you probably wouldn't need to pay so much more than 5k if you walked there and back.

Onion is a vegetable just like cucumber. Eating it raw has lots of health benefits. A cooked cucumber loses nutrient, same as onion. When cooked, it's the aroma people are looking for, not the nutritional value.
