Make una manage the English I still dy vex
My friend went for a travel agent professional course after that, she opened a WhatsApp group adding 10girls saying we should get our passport and travel that she will get us a cheaper price. we should make it a girls trip we are all doing well for ourselves including her, I later found out that my only close friend in that group has paid already the other's are no more going and wanted to opt out but later changed my mind and decided to go cos of my friends. after several warnings and seeing cheaper options with planned activities online, when I asked the activities there she said don't worry we will have fun when we get there. On the day we left we found out we landed in dar Salam instead of the zanzibar promised with no activities planned down at all before we were even allowed into that dar Salam we had to pay $100 for yellow fever and visa on arrival for dar Salam, we asked the reason we landed in dar salam instead of zenzibar and she said it was cos we paid late and flights to zanzibar was already 2.something million. Which was expensive that she bought the tickets 1.9M i checked online that 24th and flights leaving lagos 25th of December was still being sold at 1.5M for round trip 10days gap the hotel she booked was at dar salam too when all the activities are on Zanzibar island we got upset and had to look for a new place that same day courtesy of me using booking.com we went there and paid cash cos madam came with her Naira visa card to pay for hotel in Tanzania. She went to Access bank Tanzania with same card and was told there's nothing they could do for her. She came back and was upset that we aren't sympathetic to her plight that how much did we pay that our money was finished and she's spending hers.so i sent her the cheaper flight options schedule i saw online and the cheaper agent options i also got and left using her thinking is better my friend eats my money than outsiders then i said let's calculate how much have you spent after calculations she found our side of money remaining and kept quiet the next day she was able to get someone to send money through western union and refunded me and my friend our hotel fee for 2 days. I told her that is dollar visa card that might work in international settings and she said she brought it so i said show it to me and she said she won't that since i already believe she's a liar i should take it like that. I brought $ 500 dollar extra money for food and tour activities o. MY BF already said that peer pressure and my GFs will kill me someday i no dy hear word inside that my $500 dollar that I won't finish 10days in Nigeria $100 is gone o, still had to spend another $100 for travel insurance and ferry to zanzibar and back to dar Salam for the travel back we got to zanzibar and stayed in 3 different hotels 5 different rooms in 7 nights, 6days nothing me and my other friend eye didn't see we couldn't eat their food so it was only chicken and chips with pancakes every single day we lost weight I had skin burns even with sun screen my face was peeling my skin was burning.this girl did only 2 activities with us in 2 days every morning she wakes up go out and come back in the evening, i asked so this is the fun you promised me leaving me in the hotel room. she comes back after we have slept daily the activities I brought up she will say take bike to round about take a bus going to where you want . Some days she will come back by 4pm shower pretend to be making calls and leave without telling us where she's going, Took us to club a club she has gone with the indigene the previous night left us sitting like idiots went outside to be making calls again i couldn't see but my other friend could she got upset and said let's leave i went outside told her thing's here are expensive let's contribute and buy wine and shisha like we do in Nigeria then i saw someone an indigenous person have told her i don't want to see again cos that guy took $25 from us for showing us where dy sell food something others where taking $5 for.immediately i saw the guy i saw red me that was persuading the other girl we should stay longer na me stop bike i was feeling like a charity case like she brought me here for free so I went to Kenya airways and checked our flight bookings and found that this stupid babe didn't contribute upto 500k for this trip her flight was booked with our money flight was 1.3M and she told us 1.9 sent her the evidence expecting an explanation I got non so I asked her while she was on a call cos she was about leaving again and she said someone bought the flight ticket show us the transaction receipt you sent to that person she said all her WhatsApp messages has been deleted and instead of her answering us she was telling the person on the phone can you hear what my friends are saying. I told her I already know say you go chop my money I use my open eye come this trip but I didn't know you will be so wicked as to take my money and do nothing and planned nothing. I'm so concerned that nobody here is saddened by the fact that Nigerians are now going on vacation to Tanzania of all places and wasting our scarce forex when we have wonderful heritage sites, the Adamawa mountains, Bauchi game reserves, Tinapa in Calabar, The Europe like weather in Jos, our sprawling beaches and other wonderful places more than qualified for vacation but thanks to bad government and insecurity our tourism sector is in coma.
I leave us with this question, how many Tanzanians and other Africans troop to Nigeria for vacation
