5 SECRET PLACES TO ADVERTISE YOUR BOOK INSIDE YOUR BOOK ON KDP

Somewhere in your introduction, you’ll just say “I have a lot of books about marriage, relationship and divorce and this is just one of them”.

You’ll continue by making reference to your other books like “in my book, How to Strengthen Your Marriage”, I also explained the secrets to a successful together forever.

See what you did there? You’ve told this person that you have a lot of other books and one that’s talking about tightening marriage bond.

Imagine someone looking to prevent divorce reading this.

You’ve not only positioned yourself as an authority. You’ve also pushed or persuaded them to checkout your other books.

2. Middle of your book

Let’s say you have a 120 page book. On page 50, you can recommend other books related to that title.

Let’s say you have 3 books about diabetes titled:

1. Diabetic air fryer cookbook
2. Smoothies for Diabetes Management
3. Type 2 Diabetes Diet Cookbook

And the one you are currently writing is “Plant Based Diabetes Cookbook”.

On page 50, you can recommend those 3 diabetes cookbooks above by copying and pasting their links for kindle, and converting the link to QR code for paperback and hardcover.

While doing so, you won’t just post the links of QR code.

You’ll engage them and make them see reasons why those books are important.

Example:

- Do you have an air fryer and would like to spend less time making healthy delicious diabetic friendly meals, I strongly recommend this “Easy Diabetic Airfryer Cookbook” that has 80 mouthwatering low carb - low sugar recipes.

Why Will you let a customer read your book to the end and let them go like that?

So take advantage of that and advertise other related books after your conclusion.

This can be with a picture of the book cover or a link or QR code as explained above.

Since they enjoyed reading the first book, they are likely to buy another one from you, if the opportunity is put right in front of them.

But imagine they enjoyed reading the book and you didn’t advertise other related books.

You lost the opportunity of making another sale and upselling, while if you had put it, you have nothing to lose.

Rasheem, please how do you receive KDP earnings?

I would have loved to give this thing a shot again. But I was practically working for Amazon and KDP the first (and last) time I tried my hand at it with puzzle books. After all the efforts and ads, I only got a few sales paying like less than $0.5 in royalties being paperbacks.

These payments were not consolidated but were sent separately when due because I used a Payoneer account. I get charged 1% or $1 for payments received (whichever is higher), so Payoneer practically took those royalty payments as fees!

Please let me know the solution to this, if any. Thanks.

For a Beginner, I will recommend you use grey to receive your royalties from amazon especially if you are not earning big. It pays people that are earning big income to use Payooner. Geepay is another payment platform that is good.

Puzzle books is good if you can run ads and well at it.
