How please, because I was informed in the absence of an employment/appointment letter nothing can be done
It will boils down to you not knowing your right. After a week at least if resumption and no letter to validate your employment, no firm of documentation, you were supposed to smell a rat and talk to someone in the law. It doesn't mean you must go to court immediately but sometimes seeking legal advice is free if you can just walk up to a lawyer friend or any lawyer and relate your issues. Now he has the upper hand coz he played on your intelligence and seized your right🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You don't have to start ANY job without first signing an offer letter, don't rush, request an offer letter and if they ask you to come pick it up, inform them we have emails (most atimes when you go to pick it up, they would tell you, you have resumed, most desperate people would jump on it not knowing, they have signed up for slavery).

I did this already and below is the screenshot of the response I got from a lawyer, note that we were issued the company's ID and the salary description carries the company's name.

They don't give offer letter, you either take the job or you dont. That is what they will tell you if you request for one.
If you know of a body that one can report them to or contact of a lawyer that can assist probono, I would appreciate because this won't stop unless something is done

I was in these shoes before, the company wanted me to resume before offering me a letter but I insisted I needed a soft copy of my offer letter before I could resume, that was how I dodged a bullet. Some tough conditions came with the offer letter and I rejected the offer.

Nigerians need to learn you don't jump at everything due to desperation.

Unfortunately most Nigerians are desperate, people especially if you have bills to meet.

This is the first sign of red flag. Your offer letter contains T&C before you sign if you are comfortable with the terms.

Novateur Nigeria(Alongside their other brands Print Anything and Signage Kings) in Abuja.

Though the good part is that they try to pay Salary early to ensure it doesn't enter the new month, also you'll learn and grow if you're willing to.

But the management style is poor, the management most times contradicts themselves in giving directives. The pay is poor, and people are expected to show up everyday from 8-5 being overworked and overstretched, and even work overtime mostly without compensation. There are so many unnecessary deductions done on staffs salary, most times for ridiculous and absurds reasons(Sometimes up to 40-80 % of staffs salary could be deducted in a month, On One or two occasions 100%). Staffs are usually harassed and shouted at for every little matter. There is a high rate of turnover as Staffs have to leave as they can't cope with the toxic atmosphere, giving more work to the already overworked staffs remaining, and the circle continues perpetually.
Leaving the organization is also usually an issue, even though they will claim otherwise, but most employees knows that they usually have an issue when people want to go and inform them, no wonder most people who leave take off without informing them. In my case they refused to pay my last salary because they didn't want me to leave when I left. They held that the salary up till today.
Virtually all employees who leave are usually recorded as "absconding" even after sending them written resignation via email.

Then the worst part of it is that when reference is requested from them for past employees, they give employees bad/negative reviews/reference (Which is why most people leave without telling them since they will get a negative review anyways)

Funniest thing is that they don't even see anything wrong in their management style, they think the employees are the problem(When 80-90% of employees who begin every year with them leave before the year runs out)
A look at their review on the employers rating site, "Glassdoor" will give you a perfect picture of how staffs are treated.

My advise is, if you are going to work for private company in Nigeria, start saving for your own business or investment from day one, yes I mean from day one even if your salary is 20k, save in a separate account for your future. With this arrangement you will be well position to quite when you need to quit, the limited employment opportunity available in Nigeria has turned many private business or company owners in Nigeria to monsters/slave masters.
Be loyal, be hard working and committed but plan your exit before it's too late.

I swear, eyes don see. I just dey look ppl dey call all those Chinese, Lebanese, Indian guys different names as if the ones wey we dey do ourselves sometimes no pass. The issue with most of those people is that, that's how they work without rest even in their own country, reasons some top companies like Dangote prefer to bring them in to their companies. Although some of them may be intentionally wicked as well.

But u see our own people that are incharge here, they are soooo selfish, callous and insensitive. They don't give a Bleep about any other person aside themselves. You would only see one out of a thousand Nigeria administrator or boss that is good (not surprised, cos most of them get up there through dubious ways). It's so pathetic.
Imagine working 60 hours a week and one head of operations would still be asking you to join meeting on your off days, in person oo.

You are also expected to join some impromptu and other departmental meetings at least once a week. This is a shift job where you might run night shift or work 24 hours non-stop, even those that are not running night shifts hardly sleep sometimes cos of workload. The level of insensitivity of the woman who's the head of operations and the CEO is second to none. They are typical users that also see themselves as God that must be worshipped.

If you take sick leave and exceed it for just one day, you will be given query. How many days are there in the sick days leave sef? One person carrying the workload of 6 people, to employ more people as the company grows is always a problem because of their own selfish reasons. They don't care if you die, in fact, what do you call beasts that expect you to always work round the clock without a single break...are they not killers?

Someone politely seek salary increment and got fired. Plenty things to talk about, coupled with the toxic politics among the operations manager and the other team leads left, right and centre. I'm talking about Apex Network, they trade gift cards and crypto.

Run for your life once you hear that stupid company so you don't die like a chicken someday.
How come I'm just seeing this! You nailed it, Apex Network is the proper example of the "Devil's den". Those guys will frustrate every single breath of yours.
Abraham himself is the Evil

That place can lead someone to suicide, a complete home of evil. Had to leave there not quite long for my sanity.
