Most fathers guide their sons to understand life the way it is when it comes to women. You give off single mother vibes here who trusts women because he was raised by a woman who loved him unconditionally.

In reality, this is not how life operates. Looking for love is a very big mistake a man can make in relationships. No woman will love you unconditionally except your mother who carried you in the womb and raised you. Another woman is with you for her own selfish gain or validation or safety. Either she wants her children to look like you, wants to brag to her friends, or wants to have some sort of validation, safety or financial security. That’s what drives her feelings (what feels like love). What you think is love is really just emotions. It will go up and down, in and out.

As a man, don’t look for love, look for a woman with certain characteristics, like if she grew up in a stable home with 2 parents, if her siblings are married, if she understands duty vs feelings etc. That is the best way to enhance your chances of finding a woman that will last with you, especially when you both have children.
