To forgive and forget is not that easy. Some parents are just the biggest obstacle against there kids. I can feel your pain my man I've passed through this road before. Not everyone will understand your pain.

I hate my dad not because he was poor but he didn’t learn from his mistakes.
He is not fit to be a father.
Imagine father that never inculcated the spirit of love among his children.
The hatred that existed between him and his siblings.
He used it to train his kids in that way.

No one I have ever encountered has ever wished to have a terrible person for a father. Life is not the problem here; terrible fathers/and mothers who give them to their children are.

. Your case is understandable. You lost your dad at 7 and experienced a hard life afterwards. You fantasize that if your dad had not died, life would have been a lot better, even though the reverse may have instead resulted. Of course, you wouldn't consider that, as that hard jolt would only serve to shatter any images you may have created in your head of the reason why you had to suffer. But at least be willing to step outside of yourself and your private delusions to see that not all those who never lost their dads had a beautiful life without suffering, like you imagine you would have had.
