I cannot quantify the joy and pride I felt the day my husband wanted to fight like 3 agbero who were dragging my traveling bag at a garrage in the east on time we were in transit. I know that was also the bro code at work, because he probably couldn't have outfought 3 thugs, but they respected the innate desire of a man to defend his wife and backed away. I was just petting and rubbing my husbands chest that day.

Na later in their private times u will hear them trying to talk about it. The day I shouted at my mom, my Beloveth dad almost wound me. I could remember his statement, he said since he married his wife till the day I was born till now, have I ever seen him raise his hands on his wife. Omo I respect that man from that day. Old man told us the day any of our wives comes to him complaining that we beat them. That day he will beat us even infront of our children. I honestly don't know how that man was able to control my mom that when ever she tries to raises her voice even in anger, the shhh sound from my dad calm her down. Dad may ur soul keep resting

Reminds me of when I used to work in the hair salon. I was the only male among three ladies. Whenever an old female staff quits and another one takes her place. The old ones start preening their feathers and acting all lovey dovey like they think the new female staff wants to divert my attention from them.
