I met this girl online based on parole and I fell in love with her.
We started dating and everything is fine.
When I asked her why she was doing OS.
She told me that she is the one sponsoring her self in school and none of her family members are supporting her.
I intend to wife but scared of her past.
I have listened to many online counseling videos that a woman’s past matters a lot.
She had told me she is now changed person.
Then I came up with lies that in our culture that if a woman cheat outside marriage that she will run mad immediately that if she can cope with that.
She told me it is fine , that she did os to support her school

Look let me tell you something about women, I was married for 10years before I opted for a divorce because I knew she would never change.I have dated several single mothers and one thing they all have in common is zero loyalty with unhindered expectations. Just have it in mind that she will never change, she will act good till she sees a bigger target.
So because yours ended badly means every script would play out same way, right?

Just let her go if you cannot forget about these thoughts and see her for who she is now. Do you doubt your sense of judgement? You've been with her for a while, right? Is she showing any signs of genuine repentance from her past?

Instead of marrying a woman that you would torture for life for your lack of trust, you should consider dating and marrying a virgin who would CERTAINLY never cheat on you.

Samantha125:
But you guys would still do anything to settle down with SA street girls while shaming your women for doing the same things your SA wives would've been doing... There's this one unapologetic SA street girl called Wandile Ndlovu, she moved to Nigeria last year and there have been rumours of her getting engaged to a rich Nigerian man... grin grin grin... She has always been outspoken about how she was selling herself, but allegedly a Nigerian man saw a wife in her... grin grin grin

And it's like those SA street girls are always the type you want to settle down with here in SA... grin grin grin
This your SA street-girl love story sounds fabricated, similar to imaginary fantasies that a lot of street girls like to dream about.

LOL!
Why spend so much on her when you have your doubts?

Why doubt her after spending so much on her?

My initial comment reeked of sarcasm, by the way? Seems you didn't get the point.

From my observation, it seems like most decent career women here in SA don't want to associate themselves with you guys because they also consider their future to be as important as the past is important for you guys with your sisters, hence you mostly end up settling for less and making noise about it as if you've made a big achievement.

What you consider as a downgrade becomes an upgrade when you get abroad.
I sometimes appreciate some of your posts on here but I notice you appear subtly unfair or maybe biased on gender and national issues. Unfortunately this discredits your intellectual rating and objectively IMO.

This is a faceless forum so would be needless if I proceed to share certain information on cross-cultural marriages between both countries at the Professional level. This happens based on personal biases and preferences. I can speak to this elaborately but needless at this time.

Sometime back, I met an SA lady (escort) on a Dana flight from Abj to Los. She was my sit partner and really attractive. Unfortunately, I didn't get to further with her though my intent was just for a one off thing. I may not speak for all Naija guys but the best we seek from the average other African sisters who don't measure up is the fun, cultural exchange and some ego, after which we cut the deal. Not the same case with those we consider to be decent, professional and responsible.

What do you think she was doing in Abj?

She just flew in from O'Tambo and first touch down in Abuja. Her end location was Lekki, Lagos. And of course in Nigeria for fun. She never kept it secret.
Re: About To Wife A Lady That Was A Street Girl by Samantha125(f): 10:04am On Jun 28, 2025
Oh! She was even headed to Lekki? This just proves my point... She was obviously looking for a rich Nigerian Oga who'll upgrade her into a trophy wife so that she can start making noise on social media about how Nigerian men are better than SA men when she'd have slept with half those SA men before deciding to settle for Mr Oga.

Sometimes I don't get these sisters of mine, I'm married to a foreign national myself even though he's now a South African by naturalisation since he was raised here... He treats me like his Queen and everything, but I'd never in my life ridicule my own SA brothers just to prove some ridiculous point.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's engaged or married to one rich Nigerian Oga right now... Even you should've given her a chance... grin grin grin... Don't you want a passport sis as a wife? grin grin grin

Lol. Wife ke huh That's where you're wrong. We prefer to have them just for the fun and immediate moment. I speak for not all but lots. Unfortunately, they really don't get it and delusional and cry foul in the end.

Even those who even get married to them do so for personal, business or diplomatic reasons so still a win.

In my case, I just wanted a one off hit. I had to let go cos I assumed she'll be much of a burden on setting and integrating at that time, i no be "tour guide."

It's never a bad idea to marry for other interests like dual citizenship. I'm opportuned to work with expatriates that did. You may not want to ask why wink

IMO, I don't consider SA as attractive for a dual citizenship tongue But, it's a fun destination for the brotherhood
Re: About To Wife A Lady That Was A Street Girl by Samantha125(f): 1:07pm On Jun 29, 2025
You can't tell me that I'm wrong when your brothers always make sure to show these ladies off... And those ladies would also be all over social media making noise about it, when they're ready to retire, most of them would look for a Nigerian man to settle down with... I dare you to go and check the backgrounds of most of those SA ladies married to Nigerian men and you'll see what I'm talking about.
