I find it hard to believe those are addictions but I might be ignorant.

The first goal of stopping an addiction is having a reason to see it as bad. Bad in the sense of harming you not religious or supernatural.

Second is the will power. Do you really want to stop it and are you ready to stop it.

Third is dedication. Are you constantly reminding yourself that those actions are bad and able to eliminate any thoughts of doubt.

Fourth is time. The body adjust to things we do everyday that is why we humans are very special.

The last is believe in yourself. Nothing is too late and until you start walking, you won't reach your goal.

You likely don't have positive role models around nor have any compelling dreams, goals at hand.

How is ur dream life? If u dnt dream or u dnt remember ur dream, u need spiritual help. U cnt help urself. This is from experience.
When a spell is cast on u, whatever dat spirit feeds on, u will c urself doing it in d physical n u cnt control it. Now u ll often get a clue from ur dreams, but they will make sure u dnt c it or dnt remeber it. Dats why u must go for help.

That’s not how God works. The world we live in today is full of stress, struggles and suffering and pain. If you read the Bible, it teaches about living within your means, appreciating the little things as well as relating with your neighbors in harmony.

He needs to retrace his step into the fold and quit those vices. Only then, he can find true peace!

Betting is a big problem. I was introduced into it by a colleague in the office in 2017 or so.I was earning over N400k then as monthly salary. I lost over N500k to it. I took a bold step to delete my betting account and that was how I stopped it.

Fast forward to 2024 another colleague in the office showed me his small small winnings and before you know it, my old habbit came back. I created a betting account and within a year I lost over N7m. I was betting with N200k or N300k so that I could win big but nothing.

I took another break for about 4 months but each time I remembered the total amount I had lost, it would pain me. In May 2025, I started again but I was lucky to win N15.3m with N240k.

I feel happy now that I have gained something from these terrible gambling companies

I do not advise anyone to go into gambling. It has evil spirit that won't leave you once you go in there. Unfortunately, over 99% of gamblers will never recover their money "invested" in it.

God is everything. God will give you peace, love, sound mind and eternal life. You'll find purpose and direction for your life. All he needs is for you to accept Him into your life.
He's more than able, I am a living testimony.

I almost lost everything to Forex addiction but Glory be to God who helped me and now I'm in a better position. Just put your trust in Him, pay your burdens down upon Him and he'll help you.

Open up to your parents or alternatively your best or most reliable friend who is not a gambler, it will go a long way to help you....that was how I stop my addiction as I have to open up to my parents as they did not know what I was passing through, so that change my mindset to avoid the impression from my family thinking that I am not doing well because of that gambling. It is not easy, but keeping what is eating you deeply as a secrete we keep killing you on a long run. I have move from my pass and doing better without gambling application mind but rather a positive mindset
