Give a reason why you still keep your EX number in your phone up till now ?

My main reason is that romance (dating) has never been the reason I collect people's numbers. For the girls I have dated, something other than romance brought us together and made us to start communicating before romance happened. So, why should the end of what never contributed to the foundation of the connection be the end of the connection?

I don't write people off. Discontinuation of romance should not mean enmity.

Not my enemy . The same way I have other contacts I rarely call . I will block or delete a number that the owner is a nuisance to me

Some months after our breakup she contacted me for my CV wanting to maneuver me into money point office in Lagos as an IT trainee/worker. My parents refused, my two trusted friends also discouraged it, so I turned her offer down. But we still talk well and one of my friends think she and I will get married eventually, but that ship has sailed.

I think it's petty to delete a person's number just because you're no longer in a relationship with them.

You may not longer be talking with a person on a regular basis but that is not a strong enough reason to delete the person's number especially if the friendship did not end in acrimony
