There's this good friend of mine, let me illustrate his name as Jay because he's on this platform, a tech guy just as I am so he gets some gigs here...

I had known this guy from my year 2 in school, the guy was just too clingy, he just entered school then, he visits me at campus fellowship, ask me to come to his house and sleep over because we couldn't go to mine, I had a roommate then but he's living alone.

Believe me, he's very cute, tall and muscular..Tho I noticed he kinda come close to me in an unusual way but I didn't even mind because my mind is not even on that stuffs...

Sometimes he goes naked in my front especially when he finish bathing but me I don't use to really mind,I will even make joke at how big it was.
I told him I had a gf one time and the way he got so angry like I threatened him, he gave me gap but later came back but now in a relationship with a girl..
Tho the girl once told me, he had never knacked her, she tries her best but he no really send.

Fast forward to last week when he asked me if I am gay...I laughed and told him "my gf is enough for me because I Neva satisfy her...so he told me he wanted to tell me something and then he started telling me he had crush since 200 lol, I am currently done with school and he's in his finals...I moved to an estate far away from the school, he was the one that came to paint my house and fixed my lightnings and sockets and AC and the rest, I remember that night after we were done, it was late to go back because then I haven't moved in fully..he wanted to bath and then asked if I will join him...I just jokingly laughed it off and went to prepare dinner for both of us...during dinner he was making some advances but I wasn't even getting it...

It was last week he was telling me those trash he told me...

Jay is a very important figure in my life, helped me out with a lot of things while in school..I once had issue with cultists then in school, he saved me because he knew them all, I almost missed my tech exam one time because I forgot my ID at home, Jay brought it for me all the way from my place to Yaba before the exam started, battled some health issues, he was there every time I needed him.

Now that he told me his intention, he said "If i say No, he will live with guilt all his life because i already know who he was and what he wants..

Here is my advice to you. Let him know you understand his sexuality and you are not judging him based on that. You appreciate his friendship and are willing to remain friends with him and he needs understand you are not into same sex. Not because you think it is right or wrong but because you just don't feel that way. I am sure he will appreciate it. I am bi and I am not sure any of my friends are aware of this part of me. They could have their suspicions but it is not my business and if you ask me, I might tell you depending on how mature I think you are to understand that we all are different. However, if it is my "holier than thou friends", I will never mention it.

Just tell him he's okay to be Gay and he should understand you are Straight too. He will find someone in a jurisdiction where he won't spend 70 years in Jail or be ashamed to be open about it. But let him knows he is going against nature wills, even though he can't control is hormones or whatever is giving him gay vibes .
