Give me one advice so I don't make the same mistake you made.

Be brutal with your finances because when it gone no one will come to your aid.

Mistakes are lessons so you need to make as many mistakes as possible to get the lessons with in them. Just make sure your mistakes don’t impact others in irreversible ways .

Study what you love. Don’t study Medicine just because it generally pays well and impresses people!

Somebody who needs accommodation must not be under your roof before you help, some people should be helped from afar.
Even if you live in a mansion with enough space tell the person your house is too tight, give him/her money to get an apartment somewhere else.

Experience they say is the best teacher. So you need to learn hard and get the experience, to avoid learning hard again later in the future.

Personally, every disappointment, heartbreak etc you come across, turn it into a positive energy.. What do I mean??

Don't sulk, don't give up yes it hurts.. Hurts more than a stab in some cases but don't give up.. Try to see where you can improve and keep pushing....

Make friends oo the good the bad the ugly.. Make friends..

Lastly, go close to God.. He answers He listens.. Just say a word of prayer not necessarily in the morning or night.. You can pray anytime and anywhere...

Always hold grudges esp towards people that could help and refused, hold grudges it'll help you to grow and when you later make it, you'll forget about them... Trust me it works..

I know of someone that went to medschool because of his parents wanted him to. It wasn't really his thing.

Turned out that as he trained and neared graduation, he fell in love with the profession, and as at the last time we discussed, he was happily looking forward to the practice.

That was one advice my mother gave me years back when I was 21. But she phrased it differently.

Let every envy and anger you feel push you to be better whoever you feel them for. That was her words. She nagged it into my head and that's why this ancestor turned out a grand person today.

My mom's younger sister resent my mom so much after she and her five kids lived in our house for some years, she and my mom hurled words at each other before she finally left! The other person that lived under our roof for many years turned out to be an ingrate after making it big, no help, nothing....

Ensure and make sure of DNA testing, very important to avoid Had I Known.

Before you let anyone introduce you to another person, study the introducer well well, any concerns you have about them, do not let any introducing happen.
