My younger brother is married to woman from a family from Guinea Bissau who lived in Gambia before emigrating to the UK where he met her.

Unfortunately for him, the marriage did not last. His mother-in-law does not like Nigerians. He said she ruined the marriage.

I haven't heard from the other side.

They've both separated but they share a son.

Their food is mostly rice , they have more than 20 different sauces but they are all eaten with rice .. there is a Nigerian international market here for convenience. Everything about Nigerian soup ingredients , you won’t miss home much .

Good one bro. I was once living in the Gambia precisely Banjul, Serekunda, Bakau, Kanifin then I moved to Kerewan then down to Farafeni then returned to Serekunda before I left the country that country is a good country and you marrying Guinea its so good and you won't regret it. The Gambia is my second home I love the country alot and I do visit occasionally.

It's true but not exactly because the okro is not made the same way as ours. Theirs does not draw as much.

Bissau ladies are good and bad, marriage (casamento) is not issues in Bissau. You can start living with Bissau lady just as you can start living with ladies from south west Nigeria and so far both have a child (figo) together she's married to you.Abor n'tene casamento caraboca bor. which Bissau tribe is she from, Fula, Jula, mandinka, banbadinca, ngola, sainta -domigo, Bubbaci, Gabu or mpack. As for your in Banjul, Serekunda, or birikama. Spending such amount in Bissau for marriage is too much but nothing is too much to a lady you love anyway. Today in Nigeria you can get married with 100k, what you want to do in bissau is not even up to 100k in Nigeria, what you're about to do is paying of bride price which needs few people from the two family to witness. Bissau don't know anything about our type of expensive wedding they only watch it on movies. But tha PIG (Puruku) will be given to family (Iran). so watch out about your progress after you married her, if things is not working out well take her to church for deliverance if you're a Christian, if Muslim deliver her through Muslim way, and if you're traditionalist buy (baca) to the family (Iran) then things will be normal again. ECOWAS, not Nigeria (under Buhari) alone, forced Jammeh out.

Nigeria joined the regional mission as a member of ECOWAS and the only air assets involved were helicopters for patrol and support.
