I disagree. Women do these things because of men whether they admit or not. Some don't even know it because they do it subconsciously just like men too do certain things to attract women subconsciously. No such thing as "just to make them feel good and pretty" ... Feeling good and pretty is just a fragment of the whole.
Dressing, Body grooming, anything pertaining to looks and fashion is mostly done to attract attention and then feel good. You don't make your new hair, nails, lashes, dressed up in designer clothes, bags and shoes to remain indoors in your own house? I even see some ladies flash the sides of their bags while taking pics just so you know its a designer bag even though 98% sport the Aba made. Let's be honest it's all for show. Hence the slogan "dressed to impress". It's not just a feminine thing but a universal one

Nails are for them to feelgood shout themselves and compete with their fellow women, nothing to do with men at all.

I don't fix nails and lashes because I was born with it. Naturally I have long nails and hmmmmmm my eyes don't even need lashes
