Normally I started using weed roughly about 10 years ago. As usual i was introduced to it by a friend. I should have said no but here we are.

So as we all know, weed is a gateway drug for a reason — it makes it okay for you to try out other highness which exposes you to more danger

Na so one day I enter my coz house and offered me the synthetic version of weed also known as Colos. a.k.a Demon a.k.a Colo. short for kolomental. More street names include: K2, Scooby Snax, Spice, Black Mamba, AK47, No More Mr Nice Guy (all depending on location)

Of course I had to try it out… you know that little tiny voice in your head that says “if his head can take it mine can”

Yup!
That voice… so he stressed that I should take one drag alone. But I was stressed out from the days work and needed the THC to hit me hard so I went 1.. 2… and another 3.

Inhaled and held it deeply before exhaling.

My brother… no be small thing my eyes see that day. I say na that day I understand why dem dey call am Colo.

I instantly lost control of my motor neurons. That’s a fancy medical way of saying I was bleeped up real good

I couldn’t seem to move my feet.
It took eternity for me to get my foot into my slippers. And the Deadpool vs Wolverine movie that was playing felt like torture to my eyes.

I couldn’t even swallow water properly and I felt plan out of body experience… as in.. the Colo comot me from my body; sit me down come dey advice me say “see as I done spoil my life”

I began to see myself in a 3rd person POV.
The trips no funny at all. I hold me brand new iPhone 13 for hand and it literally dropped and the back screen got broken.

The worst of them all is tingling/shocking sensation that overwhelmed my body. My fingertips and feet keep getting shocks of waves of vibration like a buzzing vibration feel.

Your autonomous nervous system is fried and everything is over-sensitized.


The trip lasts for a short 15 to 20 mins but my guy… that 15 mins go be like 1 hour for you body.

Now after that episode passed, guess what happened afterwards?

Did I abstain from it forever?
Of course not.. I stupidly went back to the Demon.
To the extent of going out to buy it myself and it’s so cheap. 500 naira for one sachet or 1k

I remember throwing it away mid way smoking on two occasions only to be back searching for it at the same spot the next day.

Funny thing is the total number of days I was on that demonic substance wasn’t up to a month in total. But the effect lasted for months afterwards.


I knew water has passed garri the moment I just dey class begin get the same trips wey Colo dey give when you take am and I no even dey on the colos that day.

As in, my hands go begin tremble. Not physically (you won’t notice it if you look at me) but internally.

I go immediately drop my phone or anything wey I hold on top desk so I no go drop am.

But it wasn’t all sweet n vanilla.
It came with a little of the shakes and skin buzzing that was synonymous with colos. Hmmm

I say no wham since it wasn’t as severe I could handle it and I did. But then I traveled to Villa for Detty December and we had this event where some big shots attended. Even Cubana ChiefPriest was there.

I drink red wine wetin no nice for that event and I had smoke some Scottish loud weed the day before.

After the event, I strolled down my house (it was a walking distance) on getting home I found out the gate was locked already and my phone was dead.

I tried to pee and noticed I couldn’t pull out my D
I felt that familiar vibrations buzz through my entire fingertips.

When I touched my D it felt like stings of little pins all over my groin. I immediately thought about the weed I took and how it might have triggered my symptoms all over.

I almost peed on myself.
I felt the warmth of a little drops already leaking in my pants. I had to totally ignore the urge to let it go. Hold it back and stopped trying to whip it out.

I went back to the gate and pushed but it didn’t give way. I didn’t want to knock so Mumsy won’t see me in that high condition. So I decided to rest on the bonnet of my car parked outside in front of our gate. With the intention that if my Coz comes out to call his CL by midnight (due to poor reception) he’ll open the gate for me.

My guy… you won’t believe that I opened my eyes to the bright full moon shining down through the night sky right on me.

For a split second i tried to figure out where the heck I was! Like imagine say you wake up for middle of night dey see moonlight 😂😂

I recollected my memory and I was like “damn! You sleep outside!”

My instincts told me the time was 3am and since my phone was dead i couldn’t confirm that. But one thing was sure. I was determined to enter the house.

Thankfully the sensation has died down a bit and I had regained some control of my hands.

I whipped it out and eased myself and whipped it back in. Walked/Staggered towards the gated fence. Put both hands on the lower part of and pulled my weight up and on top of the fence.

Sat on it with my both my lega hanging over the other side. I let myself down slowly then let go and landed softly inside.

Thankfully our Brazilian Mastiff guard dog didn’t notice me when I landed so I walked in checked the time and it was few mins past 3am.


I went to bed with hands still buzzing
It’s been 2 days since then and the symptoms have eased up a bit (say less by 5%)


According to AI it’s not a sign of damage or anything permanent but a clear sign weed is no more for me. Like I give a flying Bleep about weed.

It (AI) says I should not tough it out but visit a clinic. It also says it will take like 7 days fr my nervous system to get back to base level. It suggest I eat, stay hydraTed and avoid all stimulants.

Am I gonna do that ?

The colos variant with small black seeds that looks like mustard seed is the one called Black Mamba. Those small seeds are deadly.

The one with Black mamba or the fresh green coloured leaf are dangerous.

Colos is very bad. Took two puff and I imagined my brain being barbecued. My head wanted to explode that day. I understand the feeling. I even dey cry that day why I even take am sef. I stopped after that day o.
