I have been working and living in my present place now for 4 months.
Not until last year, my work of almost 20yrs has been get up by 4am and go to work that takes me to 4,5,6 or 7pm in the evening.
So I don't have have much time to stay at home and know who is who in my area.

So my present work, practically sits me in one place which now made me observe the area and neighborhood. Though I still stay on my lane and don't interact or mingle that much except with one or two close friends.
I live in practically students and youths working in majority of Chinese companies in Ogun state surrounding.
So majority of the houses in the area are hostels occupied by this youths.

Within my 2nd months of being in this area, I noticed 2 female friends who are very close and live together in same apartment.
Rumors from the one or two friends I have said they're lesbian.
I shrugged it off, after all if they're, "how e take concern me".
I started believing the rumor after I caught them on two separate occasions kissing and smooching each other on two separate nights when they were outside receiving fresh air at a secluded spot.

Fast forward to some weeks back, it was strange to many observers who noticed one of them was pregnant. How come? Was the question on everyone lips in the area.
As I am typing this now, the unpregnant one who I later heard own the apartment they're staying has angrily sent the pregnant partner packing two days ago, with most people laughing and mocking them behind.
Since that Thursday, we haven't seen either of them even though according to their co hostel tenants, their things are still inside their apartment.

Whether it's shame or what that's keeping the main apartment owner away we can't say. But they're the gossip of the area now.
