It's probably and hardware / display issue. does it show battery charging on the screen? also when you call it does it ring out?
It doesn't show battery charging on the screen. There's no sim card in the tablet.

Worthydefender:
Is there a noticeable crack on it? If not, shine a light to the inner screen and if you could see image in it. It could be the screen that is bad or the the phone is having back light issue.
There's no crack on the screen. It's actually a 10" tablet. I'll check to see if I can see any images.

Hello folks. Please what are practical steps I can apply to get reliable internet service on my normal phones. I'm losing my mind pls. I use MTN and Airtel and it's simply no longer practical for me as my whole life revolves around connectivity.
I don't want another network with registration stress. I can not afford or justify Starlink. I'm just a regular guy.

Please also those of you who use a separate device to put SIM in and connect other devices by wifi, how do you then make calls and send and receive texts?

I need all these stresses bogging down my life to give me a freaking break

your location matters. If you're in an area with poor network coverage for MTN and Airtel, changing your APN settings, locking your network band to 4G only using network selection apps, or using a pocket Wi-Fi router placed near a window can make a massive difference.

As for separate MIFI / router devices for data while keeping your main phone free for calls and texts: most people just leave their secondary SIM in the MiFi for internet, and keep their main voice SIM in their smartphone so calls and SMS keep working normally without any hassle. Hope this helps ease some of the stress!

Thank you very much. So one actually has to go and buy another SIM just for data then. That's allowed then you imply: that I'll get 2 SIMs from one network.
I once had a MIFI but it only acted as a wifi router with little to no improvement in signal quality. Any recommendations? (For MTN network)

I am very sure this new area is the main factor but it wasn't that bad until a few weeks or months ago now.

Thanks
