Something like this- your posting the issue on nairaland now- was probably part of the reason for her hasty retreat. She's likely seen lots of threads were guys/girls discussed their relationships in a not so pleasant manner, and wants to avoid being a subject for nairaland 'trolls' to dissect and ridicule. Imagine if she'd played along and fallen for you, only for her to one day come here and see a vivid description of how a certain guy wooed a certain girl at a park and she fell for him blablablabla.... And she knows she's the one been profiled... I'm just speculating anyway!
