I believe i can drive down instead of paying this inflated flight tickets top Gear is my favorite program i pray to drive for nascars one day but i guess am getting older now so I take my time on the road this days....

Day 1 (12 hrs

Uyo - Ikot Ekpene - Umuhia(Abia State) - Enugu - Nsuka(Enugu state) - Otupo (Benue State) - Ekiti State - Ajakuta(Kogi State) Lokoja (Kogi State) - Abuja - Kaduna.

Day 2 (4hrs

Kaduna - Zaria - Funtua - kankia - Mani - Dutsema - Katsina.

Maiduguri to Lagos....only God knows how many km but we left maiduguri by 7pm and didn't get to lagos tthe next day by arnd 4pm. Maiduguri-Yobe-Jigawa-Kano-Kaduna-Abuja-Kogi-Ekiti-Ondo-Osun-Ibadan-Ogun-Lagos. D journey no be play play ooO

My Longest trip was from delta state to taraba i think it was close to 10hrs because the bus broke down in onitsha,the trip wasnt fun at all

My childhood friends just joined the U.S. Seals then so we went on tour 162hrs in total since 2008 they've not returned to 9ija. It was fun 2 cars I drove benz E230 d other was Honda baby boy we has some hitches at a point but thanks to ATMs

18wheeler: I plan to drive my car (honda accord 1999EX) from Jos to Maiduguri at the end of this month. A journey of about 7 hours normally. but with the numerous security check points I'm estimating between 9 and 11 hours. Will update after I complete the Trip.

I just came back this morning from abuja down †Φ ajah lagos, I left around 11pm and enter my gate 7:15am with ♍γ̲̣̣̥ golf 3 very cool ride

Port Harcourt to Ghana.

I felt like abandoning the car cos all the dudes with me in the car could not drive.

I learnt my lesson that day.

Never embark on such a journey me folks who only drive with their mouth.

Port Harcourt to Maiduguri 2009 1st November 6am and arrived 1pm.

shymexx: Anyway, I want to drive from where West Africa starts from, off the coast in Calabar, down to Cape Verde - up North to Senegal, Burkina Faso, Chad, Niger - and Back to Calabar.

Should do that probably by next summer.

I fired on all 6 cylinders like no tommorow.
I had to make NYSC camp opening the next morning, I was last to do clearance and collect call-up letter from my school. She was all I gat mehn!

I was hoping my Service was gon be Lagos, Abuja or just South-West, when I saw my call up letter lasan, e was Adamawa ooo! Adama what? Guush mehn! I Fired Hell Fire From my Bman, it was Drive of my Life.

shymexx: I can't put the total number of miles to it but UK heads can calculate it.

I drove from London to Birmingham, then to Shrewsbury, back to Telford, then to Stoke, then to Chester, and straight on to Liverpool - and back to London the same day. Those were the days when I used to run down the mileage of every car that I buy within 3/4 months - then sell it afterwards. I would just wake up, look for a place on the history, get the sat nav and get my boys in the car - and off we go. Drove about 15 cars from age 17-22, believe that. I just love adventure.

Another psychotic driver and the greatest long-distance driving mofo ever has to be my boy Ezenna the Zen. That's only guy that moves a car without the clutch, just the accelerator and off we go. The only guy you would like to be in his car when he's high or drunk. The only guy that has never been caught in a car chase with the feds - he always get away. This guy used to run down the mileage of every car that he drives within 2 months and he drove more than 25 different cars within 4years. He'll drive you from anywhere to heaven and hell, and back in one piece, believe that.

And we both never went to driving school, we just picked a banger at age 14 and started driving it around South London.

Shyte, there are drivers and there are DRIVERRRRRSSSS!

Friday Morning Lagos to Ado Ekiti.(5hrs) non stop

Edo (Ekpoma) to Cross-River (Obudu Cattle Ranch). About 12-13hrs journey.

Iseyin to kaduna.
Route:iseyin-oyo town-ogbomosho-oloru-jebba-mokwa-mokira-dogondawa-kaduna. Mehn,it was a lng joni,aldo the road is badt bt i enjoy the joni bcus it was my 1st tym in the north whch i had bin desperate abt visit.
Left oyo abt 7am and got 2 kad abt 10pm.

Mehhn..u guys are really strong. The first time i drove to Osogbo from Owerri,it was so stressful.
ROUTE:owerri-onitsha-benin city-akure-osogbo.
Almost 4hrs.

Malaysia to Nigeria and back.in one day

Ibadan --- Machina ( Yobe State )
total Time frame = 20hrs ( 2 days journey ) stop over @ Kano.

Interesting journey. Machina is 5km close to Niger Republic

Distance: 589miles (one way)

Duration: 12-13hrs

Route: Enugu-Kogi-Benue-Nasarawa-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe.
Alternate route: Enugu-Kogi-Benue-Taraba-Yola-Gombe.

These trips were during my nysc in 2011. I used Google maps during most times and was suprised on how accurate it was for use in Nigeria.
