I really don't know how this works but I would really appreciate a reply... I just got this text telling me to come for aptitude test on 16/08/13... OWS consult, just want to be sure if they are real or not.. couldn't get the answer from the thread

Some tips to help you recognize scam interview invitations:
~copy and paste the ENTIRE message on a search engine such as Google. If your search results take you to this thread on NL, most likely, it's scam

~scam messages usually don't tell you what you applied for

~scam messages are unprofessional and make use of shorthand such as '2' for 'to', '4' for 'for', etc

~scam messages usually have reference codes and a number at the end of the message

~their address sound strange, like it's from a remote and local location

~they are usually sent a day or two to the interview obviously because they don't want to give you enough time to research about them

In addition to the above, my advice is: do not be in a hurry to go for a job interview. ALWAYS research about the company or whatever so as to be sure they are legit before ♈̲̣̣̥ō̶̲̥̅ϋ̲̣̣̥ hit the road. Thank God for Google, this is now easier.

Type or paste the entire message on Google and look up some results. I can guarantee you it's a SCAM!!!

Sounds strange. EBL? HCminet bank? I'm not fully convinced. Do some more investigation before going.

Got same Message from N.A RECRUIT, new age resuorces, akintan street by dedeolu estate ogba. i feel they are Ŋφτ̲̅ reall, cos they sent ♍ƺ dis message @ 11 20pm, which office hour operates at that time. And no time to prepare or know about them, got it at 11pm and scheduled Fø̲̣̣я̅ 9am next day. A̶̲̥̅♏ Ŋφτ̲̅ convinced. You can go if U̶̲̥̅̊ want and come back to let us know. Bur ♍ƺ? No way!.

I wouldn't advise anybody to work for GNLD. Your income is not guaranteed. I'd rather take up a teaching job at some private secondary school. And by the way Royalcon, NAR at ogba, these are fake companies.

The following should be noted of fake companies:

They send text for interviews on sunday evenings.

They send text for interviews after 4PM

Of course you could receive text messages that don't fall in the aforementioned categories. Just use your discretion to tell real companies from their fake counterparts.

Sounds legit to me. I know that place. You can give it a try. However, if they demand anything for placement in so and so company, tell them to go hug transformer. Wish you the best.
